Somewhat like a frozen chemistry experiment for adults, it does produce the clear ice cubes that look so attractive in drinks. A little more involved than the automatic ice-maker in the freezer but also more satisfying. In the evening I empty the fresh frozen cubes and reload the tray. It takes mine around 24 hours. Fantastic solution that actually fits in your freezer. This has completely replaced my standard ice trays. Love how you can make different sizes. You do have to work at getting the silicone mold out of the base a bit, but it loosens up with just a minute under warm water, and the ice cubes pop out quite neatly. Ice is crystal clear, just what the cocktail doctor ordered. (AND the ice cubes are big enough for luxury pours, but not too big for a standard double old fashioned glass.)

I was looking for a non fussy way to make clear ice cubes and discovered the ClearlyFrozen kit. The price was quite reasonable so I decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did! If you can fill an ice tray with water, then you can use this product. That is how easy it is. Just fill and freeze. I put the kit in the freezer the afternoon I received it and the next morning I had perfectly clear cubes. One big thing to note - DO NOT listen to others or reviews that talk about using a certain kind of water or having to monitor the kit for a time period. None of that is necessary. I got instructions direct from the company that told me it is best to just use regular tap water and then just leave it in the freezer. I followed their instructions and got clear cubes that were perfect for a copper design plate I have that imprints images in ice cubes. Friends are so impressed when I use these! I liked it so much I ended up getting the tray for the larger cubes as well. The only slight learning curve I had was getting the big bottom block of ice off of the silicone tray, but once I figured it out it was much easier the next time. And just one tip from me - if you happen to have a little trouble getting a cube or two out of the tray, just twist the tray around a bit to loosen and then use the blunt end of a bamboo skewer (or something similar) and poke it through the hole in the bottom of the tray. The cube will pop right out. I get them all out soon after the cubes are done and put them in a sealed bag to use later. Obviously if you are person who keeps their freezer packed with stuff this might not work for you because it does take up some room. However, if you can clear a space for the kit it is worth it! The folks at the company were also terrific. They focus heavily on customer service and I certainly appreciated their attention along with the quality of the product. Highly recommended!

Worked great for me the first time. Perfectly clear cubes. Although I did start with tap water filtered in a brit pitcher and chilled in the refrigerator, so a lingering bubbles from the faucet's aerator were long gone before I filled the ice tray. Still, it worked exactly as advertised and I have since purchased the large 2" cube insert as well.

I’ve had these ice cube trays for a few years. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the clear ice cubes the product produces. The ice cubes definitely come out clear and I’ve received many positive comments regarding the cubes at parties that I’ve hosted. After a few years of use, the silicon trays started to rip. I was able to order just the replacement trays (as the styrofoam and plastic containers are still fine) and the company reached out to me to make sure I knew what I was ordering, which I appreciated. The only reason I don’t give this five stars is that removing the cubes is a bit labor intensive (you need to run the tray under hot water for a few minutes to remove the excess ice before popping the cubes out of the tray). Also, occasionally, there are one or two cubes that grow very large in the freezer (roughly 6 inches). Other than that I would highly recommend this product! I wish 4-1/2 stars was an option.

I have had the ClearlyFrozen2" cube tray for a few years and love it. I'll make a bunch of cubes and stick them in a plastic freezer bag in the freezer. They are perfectly clear, don't crack up or break apart. They step up your drink game and look very cool. My silicone tray tore a bit while removing it from the plastic bin and it reduced my cube capability by 2. I dealt with it but when I ordered the small tray to have as well, I messaged the company about the tear. They got back to me right away and sent me a new silicone tray. Now I am set up with cube makers. Take your cocktails to the next level. The small, rectangular cubes (1.3") are great for highball or taller glasses. Cheers!

Does pretty well with making clear ice but it is a bear to remove the cubes.

Purchased this product in July /24-Totally impressed with how it works and the size of the cubes. We make ice every 2nd day and it is always a consistent product. Highly recommend dealing with the sellers if you have any issues.
