My kids love it!
This is loud!!! But great. My little man loves it so does his sister. Easy for them to use and turn on and off. I don't recommend if you aren't good at drowning out noise lol. It moves great across hard flooring with other train pieces. Also can be on carpet but can't make as long of a train.

Bring your wooden sets to life!
My son cannot get enough of this train even after many months it brought his wooden trains and tracks to life!

Worked out perfect
We bought our son a train table set for Christmas, wanted a train to turn on and let it run around the track. He loved and it works well. He leaves it on all the time and the batteries have lasted a long while before having to replace them.

Buy without the remote control
Works as should but if I were to go back I would get it without the remote control. The RC seems to be flaky with little instructions on how to connect. After I got it connected I could get it to move but not stop or use the horn or much else. It does fit on my daughter’s brio track though. Also, she just wanted to use the buttons on the train itself anyways.

Great Gift!
I bought this little train attachment for my niece and nephews and they absolutely love it! I will say the only drawback is if you purchase the remote control train, make sure you aim the remote directly at the train to switch the directions it moves. If not, the remote won't work well. Other than that, the kids will love this and be entertained for hours! 10/10 would recommend for toddlers that love trains

Definitely good power and design
I had bought another similar locomotive from another vendor. Thing was too weak and had smooth wheels. The result was good luck pulling even one car up any hill. After reading a few reviews, I decided to give this one (no remote, since that just causes little kid problems, lol) a try, knowing I could easily return it if needed, why I love Amazon. This thing is great. It has ridged wheels and can pull 4 to 5 cars easily up both the smooth Brio and knockoff wooden track hills. Keeping this for sure. I will come back an update later if it dies or doesn't work.

Worse than a one
So my grandson loves trains we go all over riding different type of trains his favorite is steam trains he has a wood railroad I thought this would be a great addition being remote control he was very excited when it came but the first one didn't work the train would run manually but the remote didn't pair I tried every combination would not pair with the engine he was very disappointed I told him don't worry its Amazon we will just get another one so I requested a replacement two day later the replacement comes I can already tell the product had been opened previously but if it works what the heck but this one doesn't even work manually never mind remotely I tried everything back my grandson is getting upset with no luck these must be just junk don't cause your young ones to get upset stay away from these the original and the replacement are not even in the same box.I would have sent a picture but Amazon has to many permissions you have to grant them to take a picture

Works great as a standalone train. Remote is kinda trash.
The train itself is good. It fits under most default train tunnels and bridges without issue. unlike Thomas the train engines which dont fit on the default wodden bridges without clipping the walls because hey are too wide. The Remote is bad. Like it works. but it has to be aimed directly at the train. and i mean.. DIRECTLY. there is some kind of sensor and IR flash thats not very good. the train has to have direct line of sight to the front of the controller. Which often lead my toddler to avoid using it because he couldnt get the concept and even when he did point it right at it then half the time it wouldnt work. SO he just gave up on it and uses the buttons on top. it has nice soft touch buttons that are forwards backwards and stop. The second car has a little flashing light inside tha tmakes it look like people inside but it has some kind of bug. No one will have touched this train for like 6 hours and then the lights on this thing will just start flashing. and they wont stop. very buggy. just make it a switch next time.
