I purchased this book after connecting with the author's Instagram account and absolutely loved it. It's so well done and totally age-appropriate for young girls who need to know about puberty/menstruation since it's happening earlier now. I love how the author combines science with creativity and the illustrations are perfect for the story too! Well done and I look forward to more books from Konika Ray Wong.

This is such a positive and powerful book for young people! I absolutely love how inclusive it is, which is so important for every child to see. I’m going to have my 13 year old son read this book as well as my 7 year old daughter who I bought it for cause it is such a factual, fun and lighthearted way to introduce a young person to the superpower that is a period. I think I personally have such sort of negative feelings about periods but I wonder if that is partially because I didn’t have such a positive introduction to them. Hopefully that will be different for my children and yours too with this book!

This book is positive, informative, and empowering! I read it alongside my 7 year old daughter and it sparked an important and exciting (non-scary) conversation. Definitely a great support to moms who may be more nervous than their daughters to start talking about what is actually a beautiful + essential topic! Wish my mom had this book when I was young.

The media could not be loaded.  I love how accessible this book is for all kids, to understand the process and science of what’s happening in uteruses and empower kids with one!This book helps to normalize conversations about periods and menstruation and is a simple resource guide to have laying around your house.

I bought this for my daughter and I to read together and it's the best way I've ever heard periods explained for younger kids! I'm thankful to have such a wonderful resource!

My 5 year old had lots of questions about eggs and if women laid them like chickens. :) This was a smooth introduction to the female reproductive system, and empowering!!

It's about time our children are offered a simple explanation of menstruation that inspires curiosity and a sense of wonder about the human body.
