Using these for a home karaoke set up with a 2x100w, 8ohm amp.The power these things can handle without distortion is impressive especially with mic varying voltage peaks that singing produces.These are not reference speakers in any way and at this price point you would be hard pushed to find reference speakers ( I have Dali floor standing speakers which are mind blowing ), but for the set up - the quality and overall sound is great. Midtone reproduction is warm but not overly relaxed. There’s plenty of punch with the drivers and treble is crisp and natural sounding. I would recommend you remove the grill as it can sound a bit tinni with certain genres. They also need to be set on a stand or use the wall brackets to get the best out of them for sound staging.At the time, I picked these up on sale for under £70, that’s 10x cheaper than the Dali’sBest sub £100 speaker without a doubt.
