Hibernation (Scholastic Reader, Level 2)

Used this as part of a unit on winter animals. I teach first grade so I read it to them. It had a lot of good information that was easy to understand.

I bought this book for an 8 year old kid, and the information is very scientific but explained in a very simple language. It has a Glossary with uncommon words, so the kids will learn new vocabulary. The images are so beautiful, and we enjoyed reading this book a lot, and we plan to get more of these books in the future.

my son loved it. but little more information would have been ok. more a lever 1 book.

The book is a reader for children, so, information is minimal. But the book is in good condition and serves me well enough. Had I seen the contents ahead of time I would not have bought it (because the shipping was very expensive).And, as an environmentalist I DO NOT approve of sending a truck to deliver this one item. There is no need for that energy expense, ever.Thank you....
