Listed as “New”, definitely wasn’t
UPDATE: changed zero star (1 star) review to 5 stars. 2nd Tourmaster Ridgecrest jacket ordered after the first arrived used, not new, and missing both the water proof and thermal liners. This 2nd jacket arrived NEW!!! And, with BOTH liners. The Tourmaster Ridgecrest 2xl is a fantastic jacket and even better for the price. It has a plethora of pockets, all of witch zip or have super strong Velcro. With both liners removed it is extremely breathable and vents air incredibly well. The jacket is also very comfortable. It has a large pocket on the back of the jacket to stow the liners if needed. Very comfortable neck and color padding. Zippers are tough YKK. The dual front zippers that allow you to zip up from the bottom and down from the top come in handy in very hot temps. Overall I love this jacket, its design, functionality and comfortability. And it is my preferred 3 season jacket now. I’ve owned another Tourmaster Ridgecrest for a number of years now. But somehow managed to lose quite a bit of weight and needed to downsize, hence the purchasing of this Tourmaster Ridgecrest. I also own a Fieldsheer sport bike jacket, and icon overlord and a Joe Rocket ballistic mesh jacket. I still reach for this every time, and now it will fit properly again Initial review: 1st jacket ordered & arrived used missing both liners. Promptly returned. Tourmaster Ridgecrest jacket xxl. I ordered this here as I couldn’t find it anywhere else and it was for a good price. Only for it to be delivered and neither of the liners were in it. Neither the thermal liner or the waterproof liner. So I returned it and I’ll order it again. Try my luck one more time before pay $100 more for an Alpinestars Andes V3 Drystar jacket

Great jacket, too bad being discontinued.
Amazing jacket for 3 season wear (for me is 4 season living in the Houston area). Tons of pockets, several adjustments for waist and sleeves. Long enough so my plumbers crack does not show up. Sad it has been discontinued and I was not able to get it in bright yellow. Black is a bit hot in the summer, but the mesh is able to keep me comfortable when at speed.

Great product for the $.
Overall, I am satisfied with the Ridgecrest jacket and pants. I have 2 things that I do not like about this model. 1. The velcro stitching ripped off of the sleeves the first time they were pulled to seperate. 2. The zipper scratches the crap out of my tank. Other than those two things, both pants and jacket are great summer gear. I wear a T and shorts under stay cool in the heat.

Best vented mesh jacket I've found
I'm surprised, it is a nice fitting jacket. Sleeve length is good which is hard to find for short people. It has 2 liners which defeat the purpose of being vented, but they fit well enough it could be a3 season jacket with them in. Flows good air in the arms, that is hard to find. The "spine pad" is completely useless space holder, plan to order a CE pad immediately. Inside padded pocket labeled for a cell phone actually fits one which is not common Very bright hiviz, will see how it holds up to the sun. But the mesh on the back flows through body well The main zipper is good and easy to use while wearing gloves, no storm flap with Velcro over it to bind. I really liked that the sleeves have tabs to adjust tightness but a zipper to get jacket on/off, but the teeth on that zipper are very tiny with a crappy pull, so this will be the first thing to fail if you use it each time I like that it has zipper pockets on front perfect to hold keys you can get to with gloves, but the main cargo is larger with velcro

surprisingly comfortable!
When I first put this on, I was aware of armor edges and fabric stiffness. Within the first half hour of riding, it was already getting comfortable. I had removed the thermal and rain liners right away because it was about 75 degrees out and I didn't want to be uncomfortably warm. To my surprise and delight, it passes air so effectively that I actually got a bit chilly from time to time.... WOW! I look forward to being able to do long summer rides, like central Pennsylvania to Samson, Alabama without sunburned arms and no "boo-boo protection". I had a little learning curve with the piss-friendlly two-ended zipper (like ski jackets have) but a few times on and off must have rounded the grabby edges to where it became easier to manage. Overall, I like the looks, the feel, and the quality of this garment. If I remember to do so, I will add to this review when I encounter the next relentless downpour, or the next 14 degree ride through the Pennsylvania Wilds in mist and fog.

Good ventilation for warm climate riding.
Went on a few rides wearing it before sending a review. Excellent jacket. Good ventilation. Lots of pockets. Good protection on shoulders and elbows. Nice looking too.

Way too small
I wear a standard extra large. For jackets XL is usually big in the chest for me, but I usually bulk up and wear another layer underneath, so everything is fine. Sent it back and got a refund. Don't know what to expect if I order a size larger. I ordered and received an XL. The jacket was way too narrow in the shoulders and chest. Couldn't even get the zipper to meet. The arm length was above my wrists.

It's a good jacket. Quality not the best but serviceable.
I have had the Tourmaster Ridgecrest jacket for a few weeks now. Finally got a chance to use it 2 weeks ago when the weather here in the Pacific Northwest warmed up enough to try this out. The overall look and feel of the jacket is very good. The sizing chart was quite accurate even though the actual sizes don't seem to match what I'm used to. So I normally wear a 2 or 3 XL but the size chart recommended a 5XL which I though was strange. But sure enough, the 5XL was the right size although I think a 4XL would have been a bit more snug. So, consider at least a size large than what you're used to. Or, simply use the handy sizing chart! The quality of the mesh material was better than I expected at this price range. The pockets are all easy to access and functional. CONS: I'm not a big fan of the liners, specifically the material and the zipper and snap attachments. In fact, one of the snaps attaching the liner to the jacket came off the second time I was removing the liner. Sadly, I'm stuck with the broken snap as the seller (MotoMummy) wouldn't accept a return since the 30 day return period had passed. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to actually use the jacket until I was able to ride so that part is disappointed. There doesn't seem to be anyway to contact Tourmaster either regarding a warranty repair. So, without that and without reseller support or understanding of the issue - better hope you don't get a defective product. Amazon did understand and provided a credit for the jacket but honestly that shouldn't have been necessary. That shows Amazon's commitment to customer service. Can't say as much for Tourmaster or the reseller. Good jacket. Lots of pockets, good adjustments. Lots of ventilation when it gets a bit warm.
