I bought this hoover for my static caravan after it was recommended by my son who had one for his tourer. It has great suction, stores away easily and is easy to empty. If there was any negative, it would be that the cord could be a little bit longer, but it’s not the end of the world if I have to move the plug a couple of times. Would highly recommend this vacuum for small flat or caravan.

Love this vacuum cleaner - it is light-weight, easy to use and has as powerful suction as the more expensive brands. Only snag is that the attachments tend to come off while cleaning. A click-on mechanism to hold attachments in place would be useful

This is an excellent item and I was recommended it by several people on a Facebook page set up for people with touring caravans. There were more comments about this unit than any other and all were positive. Despite its relatively low price the suction is incredible. It offers the use of a hand held with the advantage of being able to add on different ends and a long handle without compromising the suction. There are wheels on the larger end making it manoeuvrable. The end head doesn't swivel - but that's normal in this style of unit. It is very compact and easy to store. Not being rechargeable means its light and very easy to use. There is a 2 year warranty although the leaflet hadn't noted the Activation code I just used the codes I found on the receipt and it worked without any issues. I don't doubt you can't treat it roughly or heavy handidly but in truth I need light weight and it is well built even so - its not a walking stick. For a caravan or anywhere where space is restricted its ideal - certainly the suction puts the hand held stick Dyson to shame - we have one at home and the price is a quarter so I'm very impressed. I thought I would miss cordless but the additional suction and the size makes up for it! My caravan will be a lot cleaner! and yes I loved having a colour choice too!

This is a brilliant hoover. Lightweight even my 4yr old grandson loves to use it. It works on hardwood floors and carpets. Suction is great. Price is brilliant for what you get. Totally recommend. Even picks up pet hair which is why i actually got it.

Replacement for original. Bought 2nd for a friend. Have recommended to numerous friends who have also purchased and been pleased. Good suction power and so light & easy to use . Makes it more accessible than the heavy expensive models

When I bought it, initially it worked amazing but 2 months down it abruptly stopped working( and I hardly used it 3-4 times). Had it promptly replaced, as it was within its warranty period. But the replacement was a scam. Had no suction power and would not pick up any debris or hair and had to buy a Dyson in less than a week of the deceptive replacement. Waste of my £50 and parcel charges for replacement.

Brilliant suction, but quick to fill up container if there is aything bulkier than fine dust. Emptying is quick and simple, so not too much inconvenience. Really light and easy to handle. Delivered with part missing, but rectidied immediately by seller. Good service.

For several years I've been using the Bissell Featherweight. It's a decent stick vac, but doesn't pick up everything and has low suction power. I saw this stick vac and it is almost a spitten image of the Bissell. It's pretty much the same design, just a bit heavier 4.4 lbs instead of 2.2 lbs. The filter is better in the merlin and the suction is amazing. I have a no pile 6 ft runner in front of the island in the kitchen and you can feel it pull the rug up slightly as you go over it. I have a 1500 sq ft house and only empty the dust cup twice, mainly because I have 3 cats one with long fur. It is so light and easy to use especially with the fact I have severe lower back issues. I would buy this vac again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it. .

Nachdem ich mehrere Tage mit mir gehadert habe ob es nun ein Zyklonstaubsauger mit oder ohne Akku sein soll entschied mich für den Arnica Merlin. Ich wollte nicht mehr als 70€ ausgeben und er sollte robuster sein als mein letzter (Cleamaxx Hand Zyklonstaubsauger) der nach 2 Wochen ausseinander viel.Mein erster Eindruck nach dem ich den Staubsauger auspackte war gut. Verarbeitung recht robust und auch durchdacht. Der Zusammenbau ist sehr einfach. Vom Design her könnten die Farben weniger an Spielzeug erinnern. Bin eher ein Freund von metallischem Aussehen.Pro:- Saugsleistung stark und saugt auch noch wenn der Filter arg verschmutzt ist.- Dopperlfilter mit Hepa Filter- Kein Staubverteiler- Lautstärke ok- Verarbeitung robuster als es erscheint (falls etwas kaputt geht füge ich es hinzu)- schön leichtContra:- Bodendüse nicht zu den Seiten schwenkbar- Anschaltknopf am unteren Ende des Griffs- Rollen an der Bodendüse aus Hartkunststoff, die zwar keine Kratzer machen aber ein schleifendes Geräusch erzeugenFazit: Kleiner, handlicher und robuster Staubsauger mit Super Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Second one I have bought. Has so much suction and easy to use. Best one ever. Gave this one to my Mom.

Based on other reviews I ordered this and couldn't wait for it to arrive. It came in 2 days and I've used it 4 days in a row now. This is an awesome vacuum! I love how great the suction is and how light weight it is. My only concern was that it does not have a flexible hose attachment but it is so light weight that I have no trouble lifting it with the crevice tool to de-cobweb my 8 foot ceilings and even higher if I leave the extension handle on. Switching attachments is super easy. I mostly have hardwood floors and tile and it does a great job on them with no scratching. I do have one entry carpet and it does a 85-90% job on that. Not as good as the upright with beater bar but I hate that machine cause it is so heavy, big and LOUD. I can live with 85-90% clean on the entry carpet which gets dirty every day. It is so easy to vacuum with the Merlin I am now doing it daily. I let it slide all week when I only had the old upright. The small dust brush did a great job on the fabric lampshades, picture frames and glass and around the books in the bookcase. The crevice tool and the floor brush also have no trouble picking up house plant debris. I love my new toy.

This is essentially a dust buster with a cord and a floor attachment that has a rubber blade on the bottom--like a windshield washer blade. Amazingly, this picks up everything from old oriental rugs, low-pile rugs and floors except for those little little pieces of sock that stick to our bedroom rug. To get these you would need a bristled beater which this doesn't have. Since I wanted this for quick clean-ups, I am very pleased. The cord is long enough to reach everything, though it is noisy. Since I use it for short periods, this doesn't bother me. They recommend cleaning it after every use. I am sure you wouldn't have to, but so far I have been following directions. Quite a bit of dust clings to the thick filter so I clean it outside and leave a small whisk broom hanging on the side of the house for convenience. Wrapping the cord would take time, so I don't bother. It is easy to stash as it doesn't take much room.
