Very well packaged and presented. Very robustly and accurately made tool, with plenty of useful and highly useable attachments. I particularly like the safety lock - I have had a couple of nasty near misses with blades on previous tools I’ve used.The multi knife included is also very robust and has a very durable feel to it.Both are very comfortable and easy to use. For the money, each of these by itself is excellent value at the full price. As a set, I can only say I’m highly pleased.Well done to Amazon as well. Ordered it yesterday, was told it would be delivered on the 9th, and it came today (7th).

This item was delivered well before the due date - Multi tool is well made with a nice textured finish on the outside of the tool tools are nicely finished there is the usual file, saw blade, Phillips and straight bladed screwdriver in one part of the handle and a larger straight blade screwdriver, can opener, bottle opener and the good old hook type bottle opener a.k.a tool for getting a boy scout out of a horses hoof !!!! - the pliers/wire stripper are spring loaded which is a nice touch all the tools lock into position and can be unlocked by depressing a catch on the top edge of the handles - also included in the price is penknife, again very well made and finished other small tools on the top side of the knife there is a cork screw and various small tools - I would add here that none of the penknife tools lock so caution is advised when using the penknife, there is also a well made pouch to stow the tool on your belt.In conclusion, I would add that the customer experience with Explorer was excellent and well deserves the 5star rating .- Nice one and Thank you Explorer Travel

Very good product but I would have preferred it contained a pair of scissors

After two months of daily use on the farm, I think this multitool is generally a robust piece of kit, and outstanding value for money.I would say, however, that the blade steel is a little on the soft side, as it requires sharpening quite often, and that the bolts at the hinge points (on both the multitool and the penknife) need to be tightened quite regularly. For someone who doesn't have a star-shaped screwdriver of appropriate size, this could be a problem. The penknife scissors are next to useless, as the spring slips out of place. Please don't put these products in the dishwasher – the grey grips on mine turned white after one wash in the dishwasher!I have had some post-purchase communication with the Explora team, and have found them to be quite approachable, offering excellent support.

Both multitool and penknife are extremely well constructed, with a lovely ergonomic design. The locking mechanism on the multitool is great, and although the penknife doesn't lock, the blades/tools all snap nicely in place and stay there. Everything works exactly as it should, and overall, they're a great pair of tools at a great price (with even a 10 year warranty, although I doubt I'll be needing it). Very impressed.

This arrived in a great presentation box so would make a cracking gift, I got this one for me - really pleased. Having recently purchased Explora's torch (excellent) I was confident this would be good too. It is, superb manufacturing quality the spring loaded pliers a great advantage over my old Leatherman version, they feel comfortable and ooze quality. Great value and I'm sure it will give years of great serviceI did forget to mention the knife in the box too, clearly manufactured to a high standard the tools are again robust and feel good in the hand, it's a cracking support to the Multi-Tool

This multi tool is now sat at the back of a draw due to 1 tip of blade snapping When opening a cardboard box 2 the tool becoming loose on the fixing screwsAs for the torch it has 3 settings ie constant light / flashing light / strobe light that seem to have a mind of there ownYou can press the first setting it’s good for about 5 seconds then the strobe kicks in or the flashing settingSo no I wouldn’t recommend this

Fantastic piece of kit. Both items feel solid and well made, the individual tools lock very securely into place.My only gripe is that the knife on each could do with a proper sharpening.
