I really love the way these feel in my hair, so much more comfortable than traditional hair ties. The problem is that they’re hard to get on my hair as it’s extremely long and fine and gets tangled in the grip things as I try to pull it through, and the next problem is that they don’t stay in place for long, they slide down my hair and then I have to start the whole process of trying to pull my hair through it and fighting it getting tangled again. So it would probably work best WITH the traditional hair tie under it, but that defeats the whole purpose. Maybe if you have thicker coarser hair or curly hair or shorter hair it might work better!

Have not worn them yet…but tried them out. Exactly as advertised and they do not tangle your hair when you put them on or take the, off. No pulling out your hair!

I bought this on a whim, because my hair is at the awkward stage where it's too short for combs and up-dos, but annoying to just leave down while I'm at work, and I'm tired of ponytails. I took it out of the package, and put my hair into a low knot, with no other elastics, or pins. HOLY TOLEDO! I'm sitting here writing this review 6 hours later, after a massive round of house cleaning (yeah, that's how I spend my day off), and every hair is still as secure as when I first put this in. And it's so comfortable, that's the kicker! And elegant looking!The ones I bought came in grey, black, and burgundy, so you'd better believe that I'm gonna look for more color options in this!The pic with grey was when I first tried them. the second pic just shows the length of my hair.
