Bargain. WORKS WITH ANY PC MUSIC PLAYER
Works with windows 10, so should be ok with previous recent versions. (If I get around to checking with Linux I'll report back) - checked out and works with Ubuntu without ANY hassle.Took a chance on this at £20 as I needed a usb external soundcard for my laptop (headphone socket damaged). At this price it competes with the SB play etc. Reviews from around 2009/2010 seemed to range from ok to good for this at £100+. I've only had this for a few days but my personal findings so far are :Plugged in. Detected ok by Windows 10 etc. Sound however was very poor, something obviously far from right, but with drivers installed this sorted out the problem. Unfortunately at the moment I cannot comment on the sound from soundcard/transmitter directly through quality headphones, but it works "ok" through daughters cheap set. Attached receiver to amp via spare line in, using the supplied jack to 2RCA lead (note I couldn't spot any L/R indication on RCAs.) Sounds absolutely fine. Quick check playing youtube vid enabled me to check and confirm R/L channels needed switching.Music sounds absolutely fine, no drop outs. Reviews on sites by those with "ears that know" say the quality sounds same as wired connection, and will be dependent on quality of saved file/format.In conclusion I will say this.... fairly small, neat package. For £20 you get an external SB usb soundcard. How it compares to £20 rivals I cannot say. For that £20 it is also a transmitter/receiver combo that works well. The receiver is able to connect to amp/speakers you already have. You can even connect to an amplifier using decent phono leads if you have some spare. UK mains plug adapter supplied (neat design) All things considered = £20 BARGAIN.My only minor concern is that the transmitter, like anything slotted into usb socket, is vulnerable to damage At the moment here on amazon they are available at £12, but as this is all "older" technology/stock, how long they will be available I don't know. As you can use a second receiver elsewhere it may be worth considering buying the whole thing again to keep as spares.

Fantastic money and space saving product. Top quality product!
This product is a must if you have that old hi-fi unit sitting in the corner unused from the good old days. Simply plug the USB dongle provided into your laptop, and set up the little receiver plugged into the AUX sockets in the back of your hi-fi, with it plugged into a plug socket, and away you go! No installation required or complicated program to fiddle about with, this is a very easy solution for even the less experienced with computers! Having said that, your need to be familiar with a computer music software program, like itunes for instance. The sound quality is excellent and it means it can sound good through our old 90's hifi seperates system without the compromises of having a large speaker dock take up extra room in our already full up household! Forget forking out loads for the likes of Bose wireless link, or even Sonos, you can use this device with any proper hifi and have the freedom to sit anywhere in your room (or the next room) and listen to your music how you want to without buying more speakers!

Excellent streaming system.
This works really well and has good connectivity options to any amplifier. Sound quality is very good and remote control makes life easier when changing either transmitter or receiving options.

Looks promising but a severe let down
WARNING: Do not buy this product without reading the following.OK the good news was that Amazon prime delivered this less than 24 hours after ordering it.I was really looking forward to getting sound through my Hi-Fi. However after unpacking I realised that the product had been supplied without a UK (or even European) power supply plug. I thought that there must have been a converter in the box which I had missed. But no, nothing! Double checked the instruction sheet which made no mention of a UK adapter. So contacted Amazon by chat who very efficiently advised that I would have to return the product.A real shame as it looks like it would have worked great. If only I could plug the damn thing in!!Creative Sound Blaster for iTunes Wireless Music Streamer with Wireless Receiver

Not Windows 10 compatible.
Great until you get a BSOD. Driver is not compatible with Windows 10 (from Creative Support).

Brilliant
Worked straight out of the box without any setting up required. I had finally lost patience with the Apple Airport express system I had, which regularly lost contact, then couldn't find remotes wirelessly, then needed regularly resetting. Very good sound quality and a very good price.

Flawless Audio Streaming.
I now have my favorite internet radio stations and audio files available in the bathroom . Used with a pair of Yamaha powered PC speakers on the receiving end and Aimp2 audio player at the PC end, I can scroll through preselected tracks/radio stations via the remote while laying in the bath. Had this a few months now and have not had any problems or drop-outs etc. Audio quality is good - but that's mainly dependent on what your audio player EQ and volume settings are. Not tied to iTunes - Will work with most Windows audio player applications.
