Great product on metalwork.
I was skeptical when ordering this product as the price was cheap compared to big brand names, but I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked. I used it on painted cast iron to remove factory applied paint, covered it in the white gel and left for about an hour. The paint literally fell off. Took very little agitation to get into the nooks and crannies. A quick rinse in soapy water and a wipe over with white spirit and itโs ready for repainting.

Too small for big jobs but good for small projects
I originally purchased this to take layers of glass paint off a door frames however with 7 doors to do this was not going to be enough product so I went back to the original plan of using the beat gun HOWEVER - i used it to strip layers of varnish off an old wood dining table and it worked a treat. The picture shows the original colour ( on the chair) and the now stripped back table top which I will be white waxing. Luckily I plan to paint the chairs so only need to sand back enough to create a key for the paint to adhere to. I rarely leave reviews but this product worked a treat on the table top. I smeared a thin/medium layer all over the table and left it for 1 hour. I used a scraper to take it off - it came off all gloopy so it was messy, but it worked and saved a lot of sanding. I then cleaned everything off with warm soapy water, let it dry and lightly sanded over the whole area. In summary, I think this is ideal for small jobs but you would need alot to do anything bigger. ( I used half the bottle for the table top - 1 application for 1 hour). It worked for the few layers of varnish that were on the table however it would probably need alot longer processing time, or more applications to go through layers of gloss as I originally planned to used it.

Is messy to use does kind of work.
Is messy to use. Works better on lighter colours removing black paint is difficult. I used to strip my floorboards. Ended up sanding as well. After leaving on for an hour the paint becomes sticky and gluppy and then you can scrap off but the scraper must be wiped off continuously as you try to remove from the surface. Then I had to use white spirit and soap and water so it took a long time to remove a small almost of paint. The gluppy, glue like substance which the paint becomes after this paint stripper has been on for an hour, is then very messy and sticky. But it did work well where there were splashes of white paint. It is very easy to apply. Also dont have to wait long for seface to melt.

Bartoline TX10 highly recommended
Very satisfying to work with this product, honestly I didn't expect to come out so much of old paint. I used for the doors and a wooden drawer chest. For the doors had to do twice and wait about 20 min but the result was unbelievable. Highly recommended

Not for motorbike wheels
Absolute rubbish for my purpose. I wasted a whole morning trying to remove paint from two motorbike wheels. I've used various paint strippers over the years ranging from average to good. This was easily the worst of them all. Multiple coats of this milky gel didn't cause any paint to bubble even when wire brushed and reapplied. Maybe it works on wood but certainly not the paint on my bike. It's also difficult to wash off.

Not the strongest of strippers but it did what I wanted it to after applying a second coat.
Not the strongest of strippers but it did what I wanted it to after applying a second coat. Really easy to clean and wash the brush out. I stripped parts of a wooden potting table and after removing the paint debris, I washed the area down to clean away what was left of the stripper. I now need to see how the fresh paint takes to the stripped area.
