Best retinol
This is the first time I've ever used retinol, it's been about 3 months since I bought this bottle and it's lasted this long! I started using it every other night for the first week then every night the following weeks. It took quite a while to get used to this retinol with it being my first time using and in hindsight I should of started on the 0.2% first, I had the occasional retinol burn In the crease along my neck where it had pooled through the night but it was a indication I had used too much. This retinol has a slightly oily feel but this is because of the squalene, it does however serve its purpose for the morning after my skin felt moisturised. All in all this is a great retinol, I would however use a lower strength 0.2% if its the first time using, then after a couple of months go to 0.5% then 1.0. I recommended this to my friends as already I have noticed a reduction in my age spots, fine lines, and my skin has a more youthful dewy complexion. It does take time, you won't see results straight away but stay with it and remember you'll get better results the stronger the retinol! But you need to get used to retinol in the first place and this retinol is a good place to start.

Works wonders once you lock in a routine
Ordinary are a fantastic company that clearly know what they’re doing.The retinal comes in an aesthetically pleasing bottle which goes nicely with my skincare corne! The Doppler it comes with it high quality and really good for accurate dispensing.You only need a few drops which makes application very easy and smooth. It absorbs evenly in the areas you’re applying it to and provides a gentle feeling to where it’s being absorbed.The smell is quite normal for a retinol serum and last for a very long time.

The delivery was fast and the box was sealed when it arrived all good signs. This is the first retinoids I've used so wanted to ease I'm with a low dosage it's easy to apply and a little goes a long way so I can see this lasted for quite a while. I've been using the product for nearly 2 weeks to help get rid of my acne scars and I'm impressed. They havnt disappeared but there is noticible reduction in the redness and size. My skin is also much softer and smoother. My sister has even commented saying my skin looks better. With any retinol product its best to do your research. Only put it on at night and use spf moisturiser in the morning if you dont want to develop sensitive skin. It's also worth noting that if you are using spot or acne treatments that contain salicylic benzoyl acid they can react with the retinol and cause irritation or more break outs. So best to use 1 or the other alternate nights. All in all very pleased so far and this brand is cruelty free.

Great product!
I’ve been using this product for a couple of weeks now and it’s been great. My pores have shrunk a bit and it hasn’t aggravated my sensitive skin.

Amazing stuff!
I've been using it for just over a week now and my skin looks lovely and bright! I bought it to help with ageing and I'm not disappointed! I have had no reaction to using it and I can't believe how much fresher and younger my face looks. Very pleased with it and much cheaper than buying a Retinol face cream. I just put my usual moisturiser on top of the Retinol.

Not for oily skin.
I wanted to give the brand a try not only because of the good reviews, but because the info that the brand itself offers says that it is for all skin types, I have oily skin. Spoiler alert, it's not for all skin types, it was very DISAPPOINTING.The Retinol 5% is supposed to work to regulate the sebum of the skin but the oily consistency of the serum, which had already improved a lot using another brand, produced the appearance of pimples, blackheads and worsened the appearance of the sebaceous filaments .Niasinamide 10% and Zinc 1% have a hated, soapy consistency. After a week my skin became very irritated and I had to suspend it. Looking for more information I came to learn that this percentage of Niasinamide with Zinc can cause the opposite of what it should, it breaks the normal protective barrier of the skin.I do not intend to use this brand again.

Great product, great value
Very good value for money. Retinol has really cleared up my skin (although you need to be patient and use it consistently for weeks for it to kick in).It’s really easy to control the amount used in the bottle as there’s a pipette which allowed you to control the number of drops. Basically I’m very satisfied and fully recommend this product!
