Daughter wanted a tier cake for her birthday and this worked great.

Not the best quality

First, the cupcake holders are too small for regular size cupcakes. I have multiple cupcake pans, and I tried all of them. The cupcake holders on this item are just too small. The cupcakes only fit down about 1/2 inch into the holders. That makes them very wobbly and unstable. Second, the holders droop. They sag when you put cupcakes into them. It feels very unstable. I would never have bought this if I had known it didn't work well.

I bought this basically because I needed a tall cake carrier for triple layer 8" bday cakes but thought the cup cake carrier was a great feature since I don't have a cupcake carrier. NOT. It only holds small cupcakes and those are much too close together. In addition the rows of cupcakes are practically on top of each other. The only way you could fit your cupcakes in this would be if they did not raise above the paper cups and there is no frosting on them.
