Transformers: Dark of the Moon [Blu-ray + DVD]

Transformers: Dark Of The Moon has hands down the most realistic special effects i have ever seen. I for one hate all the fake looking, computer animated, blue screened crap that has been made over the years. Transformers: Dark Of The Moon is the exact oppisite of that in every way shape and form. Apart from the flawless Blu-Ray quality picture that blew my mind & enjoyed on my 46" 120hz Kogan TV, to have one of the rare films that are in 7.1 True HD which sounded absolutly amazing on my Sumsung Series 6 3D Surround Sound it is hands down the best 2D film i have watched so far. The film is non stop action and eye candy that trully proves they went all out with this film, a solid story with generally great acting and some laugh your arse of humor thrown into the mix, makes Transformers: Dark Of The Moon a must for any action packed, adventure, sci fi, comedy lover. This is a must have for any Blu-Ray collection a simply amazing film.

Who said that all shows are getting the same, Well this one is very different and a pleasure to watch as not knowing what is next, and with the cast doing a fantastic job, storyline just as good you wont find better. Sheer entertainment that you wont fall asleep until it's over. Suspense and thrills what else could you ask for. Now the story goes that cars change themselves into robots sounds to far fetched but the technology of to-day can do wonders. Now we have the good that fight to save us and the naughty robots wanting to take over earth. The action is fabulous exciting and full on that you won't move from your chair feeling involved throughout that you can't take your eyes of for a minute, only because you don't want to miss anything. I rated this an A grade plus for first class entertainment from beginning to end no time for other issues, so grab the movie and don't forget the popcorn put your feet up and try to relax to a wonderful night of suspense and action that will have you glued to the chair. This is a great film, not the best in the series but definately great. This film looks incredible on blu ray and if your wondering whether to buy the 3D version I've heard that it's very good and definately worth the money. I do recommend people buy their films from the 'new and used' because you can get films as cheap as £3!

I have just finished watching this in 3D and I was absolutely blown away! Michael Bay clearly had 3D in the foremost of his thoughts when he directed the film. There is both excellent depth and in addition plenty of things flying out of the screen. For me this is the most impressive 3D movie since Avatar. I should say that the action and film itself are excellent too. It is not just the 3D that impressed me. It is a long film but it doesn't drag. There were some very negative reviews about the acting of Rosie Huntingdon-Whiteley in this film. I have 2 comments on this. Her role is supposed to be the hottie for the guys to watch and secondly her predecessor was hardly a Shakespearean actress! Would def recommend this film and in 3D if you have a 3D TV,

Mostly I am leaving this review to let Spaniards know this one BluRay has spanish menus and audio, I wasn't expecting this but once I opened the box there they were, the spanish licensing registries, and yeah!! About the picture itself, I missed it on the cinema, so I waited to watch it on my 42" FULLHD TV and it was worth the wait, great picture quality, awesome audio and the movie itself was entertaining, not as much as 2 and not even close to the first one, but great too.

The Film:- The first Transformers film was a brilliant live action representation of the franchise which I grew up with and loved, sure it wasn't as good as the original transformers movie but it had huge explosions and robots kicking seven shades out of each other. Then we had Revenge of the Fallen, which although had really good action scenes dropped the ball, too much over the top comedy and the overly human aspect to the stories never sat right. This on the other hand has the balance about right in my opinion and some of the most amazing action scenes I've seen. We have lost the comedy side kicks (the twins) and robots with testicles, and of course Megan Fox. The first half does seem to drag a bit and could of been cut down to around 30 mins with no real loss to the 'story' however the last hour more than makes up for this as the full on Decepticon assault begins in Chicago. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who replaced Fox is certainly a beautiful woman but to me feels a little out of her depth in a full out action movie like this. Patrick Dempsey also makes an appearance and does a good job of going against his seeming good guy typecasting. Shia LeBeouf again plays the bumbling idiot really well although it has started to wear thin by now and I think going forward a new type of human 'hero' would be a good move for the franchise. The soundtrack is brilliant and definitely suits the movie. Linkin Park provide the lead single for the film and don't go far wrong with the tone. A few emotional punches and twists make this a thoroughly enjoyable film, just turn of your brain and enjoy it for the popcorn movie that its meant to be. Blu-ray:- The transfer is flawless, definitely reference quality with perfect picture and sound throughout. I would really recommend this flim, and probably the other 2 transformer movies for showing off your hardware. It comes in the standard amaray casing with no slip cover. Extras:- There are none. Which is unusual for a Michael Bay film as he loves his extra material. However, the 3D version of this movie is due to be released early next year and it is rumoured to include a shed load of extras. To me this seems unfair on the consumer who has paid their hard earned cash on buying a vanilla release. A clever marketing ploy by Paramount means that they will have to double dip to get any extras as the studios continue to push 3D onto the public. Summary:- A 4 Star movie, stunningly transferred onto a reference quality Blu-ray let down by a vanilla release and therefore only allowing for a 3 star review.

Not all of the Transformers movies are bad. The first one was great, the second was bad and this one is an all out epic roller coaster of fun. Especially in 3D. Worth every penny. Go out and get it now. I would rate it as follows Effects 10/10 Story 8/10 Character development 8/10 Overall 8/10

Ottimo film soprattutto in 4k

Good movie adds to my collection

La compré por menos de 5 euros y no me podía creer que llevara todo lo que prometía. Pero sí copia en bluray, copia en dvd y copía en digital para bajar de itunes o otra plataforma. La película pues te puede gustar más o menos, es flojita en cuanto a argumento pero visualmente muy atractiva.

Esta edición vale totalmente la pena, si eres fan de la saga no te vas a arrepentir. Sin embargo lo mismo de siempre de Amazon, el sobre no esta con nada que proteja la caja de la pelicula, lo cual hace que se maltrate, de allí en fuera todo de maravilla con la entrega.
