Tricky But Very Worth It - Great Customer Service
First off, it's a little finicky. Most smart apps treat it like a dimming light, so you need to set it as a percentage of open-ness rather than using open/close commands for smart devices. That being said, once it's set up (and as tight as you can get the chain!!!) it works like a charm.I have exceptionally heavy blinds and I did eventually run down the internal gears after daily use, but the company sent me free replacement gears when I shot them an email.I bought this when it was a bit cheaper, so the value proposition is up to you, but for me it's a very nice party trick and genuinely makes my morning easier since I'm the type of person to sit in the dark and forget to open the blinds.

Very weak motor for a single shade and would not detect the motor after numerous attempts
I was hoping that this device would automate my shade however the motor wasn’t strong enough for a single shade and the motor sounds made it feel like the motor was already burning out. The next problem was the hub and the shade motor would not connect so that I could use the app and I tried over twelve times with no luck. Hopefully the seller will make a stronger motor and a better hub to resolve these issues

Never worked. Completely DOA
I was never able to get the motor to even run, let alone attach it to a shade. Completely DOA, and seems like a common issue.

Not working
None of the provided rollers work, causing the bead chain to pop.

Versatile and effective retro-fit option
This is a surprisingly good little device for controlling existing blinds. I have a number of Somfy smart electric blinds, which are extremely well made and well designed and somewhat expensive, but needed a solution for an existing vertical blind. Given the fairly reasonable price of this device, and the fact that this sort of thing seems to be ubiquitous from various different sellers with varying reviews, I wasn't sure what the quality would be like. In fact, this particular motor seems to be very good.Pros:1) It seems to be well built, and comes with everything needed, including screws, fixings, and a template for drilling, or, alternatively, 3M tape to stick it up with. There's even a little plastic widget for pressing the recessed on/off/pairing button.2) The included zigbee and bluetooth hub is unlocked and should therefore work with any zigbee product that has not been locked down by its manufacturer, which is a bonus as it opens up all sorts of possibilities for smart devices and sensors etc. The hub is usb-powered and very small - smaller than a square drinks coaster and about twice as thick. (NB, it doesn't currently support zigbee 3.0).3) The motor has a decent amount of torque. It easily manages an approximately 130 cm wide and 2m long vertical blind.4) The motor is very quiet. I had feared a rather noisy graunchy thing but it actually runs very smoothly and, if anything, is slightly quieter than the Somfy roller blind motors. The speed can't be altered, but it's perfectly fine as it is.5) It's possible to set a favourite position, similar to the Somfy My position. This is a partial opening of the blind to the position you like or need, which can then be used in automations or through a single button press on the motor, remote or app.6) There are multiple control options: physical buttons on the actual motor, a handheld remote which can control up to 15 devices, an app, and the option to use voice control through things like Google Home, Alexa, and Siri.7) Setup is straightforward and fairly simple. The videos provided by Quoya are very clear and helpful. It's worth registering before beginning, as they recommend, as they will then provide support if needed during installation. There's a QR code option for quick registration. The only info they require is name and email address.8) Quoya support is extremely helpful, should you get stuck or have a problem at any point.9) The three year warranty suggests Quoya have confidence in the build quality of their products.Cons.1) For a vertical blind (or a slatted blind), a slight drawback is that a single motor can evidently only control a single cord, so you can opt to have it open and close, or you can opt to have it tilt the louvres/slats. Alternatively two motors would give full smart control. I've left the louvres on mine in the closed, ie, overlapping, position, so that when the blind is closed it is fully closed, and the motor has no problem opening and closing like that.2) The only other negative I can think of is that the rechargeable battery will eventually die, and it's not clear whether it can be replaced. Quoya recommend charging the battery every couple of months, so that it doesn't fall below 20%, in order to maximise its lifespan. There doesn't seem to be a way to read the battery charge level, so that two months suggestion is presumably based on one opening in the morning and one closing in the evening, and might therefore need to be more frequent if it's a blind that is opened and closed a lot.Overall this is a great option to add smarts to a blind. Once set up it can do everything you would expect including eg, automated opening and closing at your choice of minutes before or after sunrise and sunset, or automatic closing to add shade to a room if the outdoor temperature goes above a certain degree, and then, if you like, automated opening when it cools down again (if you're happy to give the app your location so that it can find your local sunrise and sunset times and weather data). One can also add zigbee sensors that will monitor eg, light or sunlight level, indoor temperature, and assorted other things, and use the information from those sensors to control the blind.Using Google Home, or presumably Alexa and Siri, it can be joined into routines and automations with any other (eg, non-zigbee) smart devices you have, and with whatever triggers your home assistant allows.I'm far more impressed than I expected to be with this smart motor, and think it compares very favourably to Somfy in many respects, as a reasonably priced* retro-fit alternative (*I paid seventy five pounds for the MC11 version).

Relatively simple to install, works well with alexa!
I've only knocked 1 star off because difficult to set up with vertical blinds!Software only shows up/ down, so have to mentally jiggle to install!Once set works well with alexa and provides gateway for my smart lock too!

Excellent in all Aspects
This product is very well designed, very good quality and east to install. It works well with Alexa and used twice a day, the battery lasts a long time. What is more, Quoya allow a few months before requesting a review, unlike many who expect you to be able to review an item virtually as soon as you receive it! It would be good if they could design a unit to draw vertical blinds, using perhaps a clutch mechanism to grip the cord. It would be more difficult for horizontal blinds as they can be rather heavy.

Lasted 6 weeks.
The media could not be loaded. So for the first 5 weeks and 7 days the product worked fine. It done everything it was said to be able to do. The installation and set up guide/instructions were easy enough to follow and the company seemed to value customer satisfaction. However, on the 1st day of the 6th week of using this, it just never powed up in the morning. For whatever reason, it is completely dead. I cant get so much as a bleep out of it.I've tried contacting the company via amazon, only for an automated response program to continually direct me to amazon shipping.I've followed the qr code to try and access the "1 years warranty" that came with my purchase, only to find the page, submit my email and have another automated response tell me to leave it with them and that they will be in touch shortly.Needless to say I have not heard anything back from them. This is hugely frustrating as the product seemed to be great at 1st.But with the 6 weeks of life, uncontactable seller and spoof warranty I cant stress enough how much I'd advise finding something similar from a different company.
