When I received these they were not put together which I knew there would be assembly. They were a pain to put together! I needed four hands! Once I got them put together they work well. Moving them to different location they easily fell apart. I put them together again and superglued the bottom inserts! Now I can move and store without worry of falling apart. They work well keeping the bugs off food and people have committed how they like the design.

The media could not be loaded.  We have used these fly fans a few times now and can say it really does work. Using the fly fans instead of a food net eliminates the awkwardness of juggling a net while trying to put food on a plate. The fans were easy to assemble and operate. The fan itself is kid and pet friendly as the fan strips are lightweight and easily stopped if touched by accident.As you can see in my video, a fly tries multiple times to (unsuccessfully) get at a cup of juice and part of a burger left unattended. While the fly fan works within the perimeter of the fan, it doesn't necessarily stop the flies from surrounding the outside perimeter of the fan. That can be a bit annoying BUT beats having flies on nets and flies on food!The only con is that once assembled, you cannot retract the towers. This results in taking up more space when not in use.

I ordered these because they looked cute and wanted something a little fancier than the others I had. I ended up returning them because they were so hard to put together. My husband and I both tried for a while and finally just gave up and returned them.

They are kind of tricky to put together, but once you click one in, then you know how to do all the rest. Read the instructions for sure.These are great for keeping flies away, other bugs not as much but they are made for flies. This unit has two speed settings which is better than others. The switch is on the bottom of the unit which is good from a looks standpoint, but somewhat annoying from a usability situation.The only thing this is missing that others have is a usb port for power. This one is battery (AA x2) only.They also look the best compared to other models in my opinion. You may get some weird looks if you use one at an outdoor restaurant, but who cares there are no flies in your meal.Overall very nice.

I first experienced a similar item at an outdoor restaurant in Hawaii. I ordered these and am thoroughly impressed by their effectiveness, price, safety, and silent operation.I used one while I was eating outdoors at home after having an annoying gnat attack my food. The gnat was gone instantly. It has now worked for getting rid of flies, bees, and gnats. The holographic strips are amazingly soft and even my 2 year old laughs as he touches it. I think it would be great on camping trips when we eat in the woods also. It compresses so compactly that we can easily pack it with our kitchen gear. I will be buying these as gifts and look forward to bugless outdoor eating in the future.

I bought this for our annual vacation where flies are abundant around the picnic tables. My only issue is that they are a pain to assemble.Once you get three pillars, the last two are extremely difficult to get to lock because there is not enough room to insert them at the correct angle. I spend anywhere from 15-20 minutes trying to assemble just one of them cursing the entire time. Because we don’t use them all year, I am disassembling and reassembling them regularly. It would be nice if I can keep them assembled. Unfortunately, they do not pack and store well once assembled.They are very efficient and work well when operating. I have decided once these are no longer working, I will purchase a different model.

Purchased for an outdoor pool party and they worked great. Took a second to figure out how to put them together but after the first one, it was easy. Kept all the flying critters away from our table and the fan blades gently stops when encountering a hand or finger. Overall a great product for this price.

We purchased these for a large family reunion where we would be eating outside. This time of year, flies are bad in order area and despite attempts to control their numbers, we still had an abundance of flies.These were easy enough to assemble once you figure it out (slight learning curve).When in use, these paired with regular fans around our table kept the flies at bay. These are very similar to what you see in restaurants, we’ll continue to use them for our outdoor dining.Happy with the purchase!

Despite initial skepticism and a slightly tricky assembly process, the Fly Fan for Tables far exceeded my expectations with its impressive effectiveness. I have used it for both indoor and outdoor use and I have no idea how it works, but this battery-operated fan definitely deterred flie, using slow-revolving, reflective dot blades. Negatives are that battery life is an issue if you leave it on all night and it was desigend for the smallest shipping footprint rather than ease to put together, but even then I have recommended it to 3 family members who immediately purchased it.

Las piezas no embonan, por lo que hay que pegar las piezas. Sí utilizas un buen pegamento, el plástico se deshace. No los recomiendo.

These fans are amazing! Works really well. A little tough to put the first one together, but once you figure it out, the rest were easy! We have used them multiple times and had no flies anywhere near our food!
