I am so particular about bay leaves that I grow my own. Still, these leaves are much better than my home grown and you get plenty of them, all in great condition, packaged to protect them from crushing. They are aromatic, smell beautiful amd really bring out the flavor. I bought a package for my best friend. Im not going to spend money on another bush; Ill just get these and other spices from Burma Spice. Really quality spice and worth every dime though not overpriced.Only complaint is that your first package gives you a discount on the second. I could not apply that discount with Amazon. I wish they would accept those codes.Burma Spice, I really advice you to go to their site plus they send free samples if you request of new spices to try.

These are the best bay leaves that I have ever purchased and I have been purchasing them for over 30 yrs. When you open the package the aroma just hits you and it is wonderful. Great flavor in whatever meal you are cooking. As you can see in the picture there are very few with insect holes. I did not pick the leaves to include in photo, I took them from the bag as they they came out. I also took out many more than needed to be certain I had enough to be certain I had a fair amount with insect holes to view. I highly recommend. I will not only purchase this product again but will also purchase other products from this seller.

These are flavorful, a good size (not too many broken pieces), and I like the packaging, which slides into a cabinet or drawer, is lightweight and environmentally conscious. We use a LOT of bay leaves, and the package lasts a long time.

I will never buy regular bay leaf again! The flavour, the aroma....oh my!!!! The difference is instantly distinct! These are by far, more pungent than what you would normally find at the supermarket. Words cannot begin to do justice to these! You definitely have to try it!!!

delish! we went crazy when we opened these bay leaves! we can use 2 or 3 in a recipe that calls for 4. recommend highly!
