I got this for my mom who wanted a new glass measuring cup to replace her old one that broke. The quality of the product itself is amazing! Very thick glass, and the red measurements are very easy to read. The only complaint I have is that it is WAY bigger than we both expected. That could be our own faults for not reading more in depth descriptions of the cup where they include the size, but for what we needed, which was something that holds up to 2 cups, this way bigger than we wanted. That being said, it would be great for someone who bakes or needs 3-4 cup measurements when they are cooking/baking! But if you’re a normal cook that just needs a normal sized measuring cup, this might be too large for your needs.

I've had 1- and 2-cup glass measuring cups for ages, but this 4-cup (1 quart, also 1 liter) one is so versatile that I wish I'd always had it. I like the shorter wider design which makes it very handy to use as a small mixing bowl with its own measuring lines, plus it's more stable. The handle is comfortable to hold and it has a pouring lip. The red markings are easy to read with 1 quart, cups, and some volume ounces on one side, and milliliters and 1 liter on the other side, just as shown on the product page. The only downside to the shorter and wider factor is that the measurement lines are a little closer together, but that hasn't been a problem.The glass is thick and made of Pyrex, so it should be durable with reasonable glassware care. (I've had some other Pyrex items for decades.) Pyrex can be used in the freezer, microwave, or preheated oven, but not on a cooktop, under a broiler, browning unit, nor in an air fryer, and of course don't put anything wet or cold on hot Pyrex. No quick drastic temperature changes. The leaflet also said to not microwave a "tiny amount" of food in it but normal microwave use is fine. Pyrex is dishwasher safe although the red measurement markings might fade over time with lots of dishwasher use. This is a very useful, multi-purpose kitchen item.It also arrived securely packaged in the manufacturer's box, inside another amazon box with a couple of other ordered items.

This Pyrex 2 quart measuring cup replaced one that I dropped. It works great, is very durable (except when dropped onto a tile floor), and is a great size to have in the kitchen.

The shape and usefulness of my quart measuring cup is perfect for me. The glass is thick and study, the measurements are well defined.I use this mostly for preparing my probiotics and prebiotics with a quart of half & half to mix for my cultured dairy "yogurt" product.So far, pouring boiling water in it to disinfect it has not affected it. The handle is comfortable and easy to hold. It's also easy to clean. Pyrex is a good brand.

This item is exactly what I needed for the prebiotic yogurt measurements. It is perfectly designed and comfortable to use for the prebiotic yogurt. I make the combination of the dry ingredients and the half-and-half in the Pyrex measuring cup and then easily pour the liquid into the jars. The Pyrex is ordered at amazon.com in USD, and the conversion to CAD + the shipping make this product pretty expensive.In terms of usefulness I'm glad to recommend this product.

I cannot use this for the original intended purpose, which was measuring water to pour into a kettle. too bad I didn't read the reviews beforehand. there is only one shallow angle at which you can pour a trickle of water without spilling, but it's difficult to maintain the angle with the weight of the water in the measuring cup.it may be that the spout is designed for pouring thicker stuff like batter. I dunno.but I'm probably not returning it. it seems like a good bowl for mixing or heating things. it IS made of Pyrex, and it was only ten bucks.

I'm using this pyrex measuring cup to make my own milks. I use it with a mesh strainer and it comes out great. I love that the big pouring spout. You can also put in microwave and oven. What's not to like?
