Great for Pixel Phone Owners
Very great tablet, especially if you're a Pixel phone user. If you are really plugged in to the Android/Google ecosystems, I feel that really just makes the tablet a lot more valuable. I use it mostly for traveling to stream, catch up on emails, and occasionally scroll the web. I think its an excellent value for the money, and has been durable. The battery life has never caused me issues, but I am not very demanding with the length of time I use it for. The picture and color quality is very good on the screen. Never have issues. One of the coolest features is that it will auto-connect to my phones internet, which is a joy when I travel and don't want/need wifi.

Very nice tablet.
I ordered my first one of these tablets from Google directly. I enjoyed it so much that I purchased one here for my son and I'll likely buy more for other family members. The display is very crisp, the speed is fast and the build quality is nice. The fingerprint sensor is integrated into the power button and is very fast and convenient. This tablet is basically your android phone on steroids. I connected it to my Google Pixel phone via USB-C and transferred all of my data and apps from my phone over to the tablet with ease. I'm even able to send text messages from the tablet like its my cellphone (have to be connected to Wi-Fi). I would absolutely recommend this tablet if you're looking for a more budget friendly option without compromise in functionality. I am beyond satisfied with this tablet for the price paid, it's a great value.

Awesome tablet!
This is an awesome tablet! The user experience is exactly like the Pixel phone. It is seamless and fast to access what I need. The screen has the right sensitivity and the resolution is very high quality. I am very pleased with this unit. It has all of the functionality you would expect with an Android tablet.

Great product, seemless use, great battery life!
I'm in love with this tablet, it works very smoothly. I bought a stylus to use with it so I could annotate pdf files for lesson planning as I'm a teacher and it works so beautifully!! I've been able to save so much paper not having to print everything out to write all over it just to scan it back in. Now I can do it all digitally thanks to this tablet! It was super easy to set up and it works great for streaming whatever I want to watch as well, great sound and picture quality. This thing does it all.

Great tablet, but lacks full samsung integration
Great android tablet. But there is an important distinction between an android device and a samsung device. I sent mine back because I couldn't fully clone this tablet to my samsung phone, which requires both devices to be logged into your samsung account. Android will sync most things between android devices, but not phone calls. The price point for this device is great and it truly is a great android tablet. My preference though is for complete and seamless integration among the android AND Samsung ecosystem.

Nothing "light duty" about it
I constantly see folks recommending this tablet for "entertainment viewing" and such tasks. Bottom line is, it handles a lot more very well. I use it with Noteshelf3 to create notes and annotations on PDFs as well as drawing in Infinite Painter. It doesn't lag. Its battery life is pretty swell. I use it at work to as my main notepad with a penoval paper-like screen protector and USI2.0 stylus. Absolutely brilliant. There's minimal lag. If I had to choose between writing on this or and iPad, it's this thing nearly every time. The best part is, the setup at 279 for the tablet makes it literally half the price of an e-ink. Storage capacity is reasonable at 128gb and being in the Google ecosystem means I can use my 2tb cloud. I'm snapping with my pixel 7 pro and sharing photography vs relying on its camera. The LCD is kind of weak, but not a deal breaker at the price point. For $400? Eh, no thanks. Less than $330 with accessories all-in? Yes, please. It does seem rather heavy for it being "half empty" per the teardowns. I'll tell you what, battery life is well over 2 days for my use case. I don't need more weight to charge less. In fact, I'd prefer less weight but that's not to say it makes my arm sore. I walk around a million square foot industrial plant with this pixel in hand and it doesn't bother me one bit. I'm shocked at how well thjs G2 performs. It's punching well above its weight imo. I'm by no means a tablet connoisseur. I am an average person throwing tasks at this thing and it just does whatever I ask it to do. If it's on sale, go for it! If not, wait til it's on sale or buy something else. I don't know what else comes with these specific screen protects (paper-like) but it is a must for my taste.

Other use: backup to your phone and Google Account
I originally bought this tablet for media consumption for streaming purposes, which it does well! I got it without the dock and use it on the ellipitcal with a tablet holder. The clutch use for this is as a backup to your cell phone if you are in the Google ecosystem/Android ecosystem. It is modern enough to serve as a 2FA and backup for your google account in case you get locked out of your phone, as it is essentially a large Android device. I am also able to take notes on this easily even without an additional keyboard attachment as it is big enough to almost type normally. Nice image quality and good craftsmanship. It is a tad slow with multiple applications and your social media feed may lag as it is not the most powerful, but it is reliable in a pinch in my particular situation.

Mostly okay, it does lag a little bit every now and then.
