I purchased two, to place side by side, in my kitchen. I have a small eat-in, galley style kitchen with limited counter & storage space. I now have storage space for my kitchen appliances to free up my counter tops. The surface of the bakers rack can be used as work space, enabling more than one person to work in the kitchen. They will be used for a buffet/serving area when I have family gatherings.The top shelf, work space and bar with hooks are permanently attached and must be in the position, as shown in product description. The lower two shelves can be placed in higher or lower positions. Just measure the items you plan on storing on the bottom shelves before assembly because they aren't adjustable once it's put together.The shelves are sturdy. I use the bottom shelf of one of my units to keep three 5-gallon water bottles for back-up. I just put them on their sides, neck out. I have my Kitchenaid Artisan mixer on the work top of the other. These racks are much more substantial than anticipated.At first, I was disappointed that the work top wasn't a wooden cutting board. I am now glad that it is the laminated top because I feel like it can be kept cleaner than a wooden top. If I want to prep food, I can just put a cutting board on it, as I always have on my kitchen counters.If anyone is living in a dorm or small apartment, this could be used as a desk that doubles as a bar to eat at. You could reposition the bottom shelves to accommodate your legs and use stools.I am very happy with bakers racks and have never been happier with an Amazon purchase. I would definitely purchase again.

This looks great in my kitchen. The storage capacity is pretty good. It's very sturdy and doesn't wobble. I love the butcher block shelf to put items that need more stability, or to use as extra prep space. I also love having a place to hang my mugs for easy reach in the morning. My coffee maker sits right under them. I just wish I would have made a teeny bit more space between the shelves so that my crock pot would fit without a hassle but that's more an assembly issue not the manufacturer. Tho the instruct are a little vague...but again I take the fault of not testing the height before I completed the task.

Seems like it’ll work well. Barely fit my microwave on the cutting board area but it did fit. I like the top storage and that I can hang things from it easily. Fairly easy to put together but I had to undo and adjust a few times for the height I wanted on bottom racks. You kinda have to guess as to what goes where from the picture. Took me 20-30 min to put together. Doesn’t wobble, wheels lock to keep from rolling. I have a small kitchen so it fits as I needed it to.

Honest & True: so I brought this cart because I wanted an open concept concession stand in our theater room. This cart was perfect it came as the right height and sturdy. He’s happy!

Packaged look like it went through a lot of being tossed around the box had holes luckily minimal damage done but despite that the rack is a good storage rack for the kitchen
