I’ve only tried Apple and Google maps. Other map apps may work. Load on your phone and see if it’s recognized.

Difference between w901 and 901 pro?

If I am not mistaken you are able to transmit off pro if your already have Bluetooth and just want to make it fancy, the other one doesn’t have that option I personally have pro and it been great worth the buy in my opinion.

Hd radio? Does the radio function include HD Radio capable stations which transmit on side bands also?

This device supports only apps with Apple and Android Car Play. Try adding the app to your phone and see if it’s recognized by the device.

Does usb connection play through car speakers ?

Beware of the suction mount!

Received the Carpuride 901 Pro as a gift, and mounted it to the windshield of my Toyota Tacoma, because there is very limited space to attach it and the dashboard was not an option. Went on a ski trip and when I warmed up my truck in the morning the windshield cracked across horizontal, originating from the suction cup mount? My thought is the suction cup mount made a difference in the temperature from the rest of the windshield. Seems like a very odd thing to happen although I am not astute in this area of physics.

Great tech support

I had a problem with phone audio and Siri. Contacted tech support. They sent me new firmware, which fixed the problem. It allows direct connection of phone to car via BT while staying connected to device via WiFi. Great service and attention to customer. Five stars!
