These pant are hard wearing use my for work and bushcraft

Great trousers, very hard wearing. I wear them for hunting and shooting in the UK. Personally I don’t think they are great for hillwalking or mountaineering - for that get some montane, rab, or even craghopper trousers.However for day to day stuff you’ll struggle to find a traditional hardwearing pair of trousers for ‘everything else’.My teo bug bears with them is that the waist and has no elasticity which is fine if you are exactly the right size, but for most people who are between waist sizes you have to use a belt and deal with a slack waistband. In this day and age they could improve this design. Also there is a great deal of bagginess in the leg from mid thigh all the way down to mid calf. It’s because they are designed for movement and I’ve had other Nordic style trousers designed in this way (long legs, baggy knees), but for the average UK hill walker / stalker they are not ideal. However we have a local seamstress where I live who alters fjallraven trousers for the military so fortunate to can have mine altered. That’s another benefit of traditional cotton design.

Love these trousers! A lot of people have said they buy the same size as their jeans but I had to buy 2 sizes bigger but not a major problem. I have commented on the water resistance as I’ve not been out in the rain yet.

A little heavier than I anticipated but they will be fine for Autumn/Winter. Also the leg length is slightly long for size.

Great trousers for bushcraft. They are good for hill walking in the winter or autumn when the days are cooler as not much ventilation. Great pockets can store maps and other essentials. Good sturdy trousers that can take a lot of rough going.

To start off id like to say “52”=36 inch waist! I know that will help some straight off...secondly id like to recommend the “outdoor experts” sellers, as they were great in helping me getting the right size and getting sorted-very good seller!:-)Why the 1 star rating you may ask? I believe i was mis-sold this product as i was lead to believe every step of the way that these were made in sweden by a swedish company and by swedish hand, i was disgusted to see made in “Vietnam” on the label(see picture), one, this is pure greed as it is getting the product made for peanuts in a foreign country, “rather” than keeping or indeed increasing employment in sweden, for the swedish people, i was happy to pay £130 in the knowledge that the pants were made by swedish hand by fjallraven! As a believe in investing in good gear! It does last, so for fjalllraven to produce their product and conduct business like this is poor at best, as this is my first fjallraven product, it will defo be my last given the manufacturing not being of swedish origin...Time will tell if the product last given its manufacturing....

Bought these as I tried to buy some condor pants previously which I returned as they were pants as pants go. These however are awesome extremely comfortable allow great movement and don’t restrict in any way. Loads of useful pockets and the hemmed fasteners are a nice feature. I will be buying another pair. Pay attention to sizing it can be a little confusing. Highly recommend.

Have two pairs of these trousers. They are without fault......great bit of kit.....but you do have to wash them occasionally!! Pity they are not self cleaning 😉😉
