Perfect refresh for my Benchmade Bugout
I lost 2 screws from my Bugout knife and contacted Benchmade customer service, The response I got was if I did not buy it direct from them, they would not repair it. I found this kit here - figured for under $15 it would be a safe gamble and it was! Total refresh for my knife!!!! Easy to do if you are mechanically inclined - take a picture of the wire/spring before disassembling to save yourself grief and aggravation later when you reassemble. Also use a spot of Lock-Tite on the screws and your knife is as good as new!

Love it hardware fits good.

Screw thread size didn't match my knife.
The scale screws didn't thread into my knife. I ended up over tightening one trying to get it to thread and had to cut a grove in it to back it out with a regular tip screwdriver. The thumb stud, pivot kit and pocket clip were all good to go and look great.

All screws are the wrong size for my Benchmade knife
I disassembled my Benchmade Bugout knife to rebuild it with new handle scales. What I found was that all of the screws had the wrong threads and were shorter than the factory screws. I was able to use the pivot and pocket clip, but the rest I had to reuse from the knife.

Bad but not the worst
I lost a thumbstud on my Benchmade Mini Bugout so I ordered a set of these as a replacement and everything fits fine and they have held up to the Florida lifestyle so far but my issues is with the thumbstuds. The thumbstuds are sharp to the touch - they ripped a hole in a pair of my khakis. I have since filed them down but I would suggest a brand where modifications are not necessary.

Not for a bugout
Says it’s for a bugout but DOES NOT fit. Screws are to small and the clip doesn’t line up. I would not suggest buying
