Review: Great product - I didn't think spool would ever run out
Review: This flux core welding wire is advertised correctly, the images are true. Highly Recommended. - I am not a professional welder, but I like to think I am. I just mess with some projects around farm. I have an old miller stick that I been dealing with for many years and my dirt dobber welding is coming along nicely. The unit must weight over 100lbs and must be the age of it as well. So felt like it was time for an upgrade with a wire feeder. Once I dialed in the speed and amps, my new welder with this wire is a game changer. I do not have a lot of experience with different types of wire, All I can say, this left a nice and clean weld. Did not have to grind anything. Did not have to worry about an electrode sticking or scratch starting on rusted metal was not a problem. There was no slag to clean up. During welding process, this wire left a nice clean puddle to work with and penetrated the metal perfectly. I have no complaints about this wire. It does its job well. Packaging & Delivery:] The packaging is as expected and arrived without incident. Delivery was fast and as promised. [Summery:] All in all I am very happy. I am comfortable with the 5 stars. I have no problem recommending this or the seller. A: No this is flux core mig wire for mild steel. You need aluminum wire which is soft and easily bird nests if you “push” it down your Mig torch. Spool guns that mount and feed the wire at the end of the torch work better for Mig welding aluminum, but are not required. You also Mig weld aluminum with DC, where you need AC for Tig
