Absolutely brilliant read!!
"Philosophy Simplified" is a must-read for anyone who wants to understand the most influential philosophers and their ideas. The book is well-written, engaging, and easy to follow, even for those who have little to no prior knowledge of philosophy me, I found it very fun. The inclusion of daily philosophical quotes is a great touch that adds to the overall value of the book. Great job guys!

If AI wrote a summary of the greatest philosophers?
Some great philosophers have been excluded from this book but that could be forgiven. The repetition is annoying to say the least but a bit more heart would do these people justice.

love this from start to finish
This was such a fun and insightful book to go through and learn from. There is so much knowledge that is distilled in this book. It's a game changer if you re interested in great thinker, if you like their quotes also the the theory they had!I love how the sections have been slit up into the history/biography, fun facts and then compared them to each other.

Excellent
I thoroughly enjoyed "Philosophy Simplified" and found it to be an excellent introduction to philosophy. The author has done a fantastic job of breaking down complex philosophical concepts and theories in a way that is both accessible and informative. The inclusion of daily philosophical quotes is a nice bonus that helps to reinforce the key ideas presented in the book.

Plato-A World Beyond Our Senses
An excellent book that has left me feeling much more intelligent. I’ve always thought philosophically, so I am grateful for this book which gives a good snapshot of ten of the most exemplified philosophers. They give us a lot to think about and grapple with when it comes to understanding our world and better navigating it through thought. I definitely agree with Plato. I happen to believe the things we can't see are more substantial than the things we can, including thoughts!

A pretty good product
This book has been well written and properly edited and formatted. The producers cared to put a decent product in your hands. It is also a rather good treatment of the leading philosophical figures of the Western world. I especially like the approach of giving 20-30 pithy quotes from each and then summarizing its meaning and then giving a 2 sentence explanation of how might put that quote into practice in his everyday life.I give it a four because its really a kind of cliff's notes. but as cliff's notes, it is excellent. You could do a lot worse for yourself--for example, you could try to plow through the critique of Pure Reason and you would be miserable.

Having a hard time with philosophy - try this
I have always struggled reading philosophy - your getting sleepy... This book provides a introduction to some of the great thinkers - certainly not an academic text. Includes a series of 'quotes' from each and what they mean - not sure of their accuracy - but interesting. I have even used some. eg "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." by Aristotle.

Amazing Book
This philosophy book was just what I needed! It wasn't dry and boring, I found it to be very entertaining and a total page-turner. The information was easy to digest, and the author did a great job talking about each philosopher. I'd highly recommend this book to anyone interested in this subject!

Cookie cutter book
While it has a a wide compilation of quotes and ideas from famous philosophers the book seems to lack any original ideas.
