It's not as runny as some of the cheaper ones, and the bees are very happy with it.

Arrived just in time when the winter weather was not too cold to open the hive. The bees went straight for it.

Bought to bulk up a new colony, 4wks later the bees have still hardly touched it. They seem to be unable to eat it due to the solid nature of the product. I fear it will go mouldy before they ever get through it.Well after a couple of months they got through the bag. As nectar and pollen became in short supply the bees moved onto the candipolline...I think it'd make a nice winter food, but the bees turned their noses up at it when there was nectar (and syrup) available. I think it's going to be valuable to add to the hive around feb/mar as the queen starts to lay again. I guess it will also encourage laying too. Probably a great choice for early spring when food is scarce.

i have used many products and iam long in the tooth when it comes to bee keeping.very good product, bees took in down very well, liked packaging on it not too thin as to split on rough frame tops in hive.

Overwintered my first hive with it and the swarm is strong and flying well this Spring. I plan to include this in every hive this Autumn from now on.
