The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 [Blu-ray + DVD]

I only came across the Twilight Saga recently, and have enjoyed all the films. I am not a teen by a long way, but find these very worth watching, and keeping to watch again in future.Teen light horror is enjoyable because it has a magical fantasy edge to it without the extreme gore and violence you get in vampire/werewolf films aimed at an older audience.

The concluding film in the blockbuster series and therefore a must have for all fans of the films.This was pre-ordered (like part one) for a family member in 2013; as most people will know, the films were pretty faithful to the books – there's a slight twist to this final episode, but generally it met with expectations.At any rate, unless you've purchased the movies as a boxed set, you'll want this one to complete the saga – and it's a good one!The DVD offers a good digital transfer, has subtitles in English and a couple of extras – a director's commentary and a UK premiere feature.A fitting end to a much loved series.

Finishing the Saga this is a really interesting film. I can't tell you the details but it is close to the last book. The films that cover the last book do them really well. The characters and the actors are more harmonious in this film. It has such a heartrending ending it is worth it just for that.It was an excellent ending to an excellent saga.Worth taking the time to watch but do start with the films in order of:TwilightNew MoonEclipseBreaking Dawn Part 1Breaking Dawn Part 2And don't forget to check out the books as well. I found I liked Twilight better after I have read the Twilight book as the first 3 stories leave out little things that for me really made the stories amazing adventures. Breaking Dawn is a very big book and it was done extremely well in Part 1 and 2 films.

The last part in the saga seems Bellsa transformed but drawn into a confrontation with family and friends against the Volturi over Renesme.Well they say all good things come to an end and this is the end of a great film series. It sticks pretty close to the book which in an adaptation is important to me.Highly recommended.

Ahhhh, twilight heaven indeed and now it is at an end :( I now have all the books and all the dvds and all the cd soundtracks, no I am not a sad middle aged housewife, I just know what I like! :D I have thoroughly enjoyed the twilight mania such as it was and I love the escapism of these books and films, fair enough the films don't really live up to the books but then they rarely do, so long as you don't have the books freshly read in your mind you can enjoy the story in the film - I think - I learned my lesson when I re-read Eclipse before going to see the film at the cinema and came out really peeved at the changes made, now I just enjoy the films for what they are and I have to say the last one was not a disappointment, that battle scene was great and watching in the cinema was great fun - hearing the sighs and gasps and then the final release of breath as the battle ended and all was revealed - great fun........

Well yes it is a great movie and being a pleasure watching it, Kristen and the cast played fabulous parts to make you feel that you are one of them, being there with them so real like. Vampires and wolves becoming as one force against all others, The protectors of the baby while everything is going on still watching over her even as she grew. Full on action and heart pounding effects making you stay seated to the very end. To the end friends are friends well maybe but there is still more to see as I have said so little about the show everything was going at such a fast pace. I rated this movie an A grade plus, for unforgettable entertainment a not to miss. Different to the last ones but still worth taking a look at and what happens near the end, Sorry no more hints so not to spoil the whole show. Judge for yourself and see what you think, relax and enjoy you won't be sorry.

Wow! This is the final installment of the the 'Twilight' Saga. It doesn't follow the same line as the book - not through just Bella's or Jacob's view but shows what happens to everyone in Forks in the same way as the earlier films.Don't want to spoil anything but we all know that Bella is now a vampire and she and Edward have a daughter, Renesmee, who Jacob has imprinted on. OK so we have to find out how that relationship will work, but, don't forget that the Vampire royalty have an interest in the Cullen clan and that is also covered in this final part the Volturi have some questions that need answering.Lots of twists and turns but this does wrap everything up very well - even leaving an opening with Renesmee, how will she live her life? Brilliant film, not to be missed.

Only one of the films I didn't have and I watched the others in a marathon session so it was nice to have this delivered and added to the collection. I'd seen the film before, doesn't mean I won't be watching it again.

Ich mag die Story im ersten Teil.Aber der letzte Teil, nun ja ich weiß nicht recht was ich davon halten soll.Am besten fange ich von vorne an.Bella scheint ein neugeborener Vampir mit Superkräften zu sein da ihr Verlangen nach menschlichem Blut kaum vorhanden ist. (Jasper, der bisher jüngste der Cullens, hat nach wie vor Probleme damit, Superbella nicht?!)Dann diese unglaubliche Aussage von Jake dass Bella und Edward ein tolles Paar sind. War er da bekifft? So eine Aussage passt nie und nimmer zu ihm, selbst jetzt nicht wo er auf Renesme geprägt ist.Renesme als Baby, sie sieht so unnatürlich aus, wie so ein ferngesteuerter Außerirdischer. Was lief da falsch, warum kann man nicht ein normales süßes Baby zeigen?Thema Prägung. Ich hab das so verstanden dass Renesme ab dem Zeitpunkt ihres Erwachsenseins so alt bleibt wie sie da ist. Also für immer 21? Was ist mit Jake, er altert doch trotzdem, mich würde wirklich brennend interessieren wie die Zukunft der beiden aussieht. Ewige Zukunft für Bella und Edward hin oder her, Renesme wird Jake eines Tages verlieren.Und wer sagt dass sie sich auch auf Jake prägt, sie hat doch keinen Funken Wolfsgen in sich? Wie genau funktioniert das mit dem Prägen überhaupt, prägt sich einer, in dem Fall Jake, und der andere, in dem Fall Renesme, ist dem willenlos ausgesetzt? Was für ein Schwachsinn, ist das dann überhaupt wahre Lirbe was Renesme für Jake empfindet? Und wann weiß bzw merkt sie es?Zurück zur Handlung im letzten Teil. Es geht alles viel zu schnell.Jake zeigt sich Charlie gegenüber als Wolf. Die Szene wie Charlie darauf reagiert fehlt leider.Renesme altert so schnell. Warum fällt Charlie das nicht auf?Wo ist Bellas Mum, warum lernt sie Renesme nicht kennen?Wo sind Bellas Schulfreunde, wie haben sie Bellas Verschwinden aufgenommen?Dann die ganzen Verwandten, so viele neue Gesichter, auf keinen kann man näher eingehen, geschweige denn sich Namen merken.Und dann die Kampfszenen.Ein Witz, man fiebert im Kampf mit, ist betroffen wer zum Opfer wird, und dann war das alles nur eine Vision.Alles endet im Happy End, der einzige Verlust ist Irina die in ihrer Trauer um Laurent einen Fehler gemacht hat.Ich weiß echt nicht was ich vom letzten Film halten soll.Sehr langatmig, alles geschieht viel zu schnell hintereinander.Und Edward ist eindeutig wirklich ein Waschlappen. Steht nur rum mit leidendem Gesichtsausdruck. Wo ist Beschützeredward aus dem ersten Film?Die beste Rolle ist für mich Aro, er ist unglaublich, auch von der schauspielerischen Leistung her.Es sollte sowieso eine eigene Reihe über die Volturi geben, das wär mal was.Der Abspann am Ende war nochmal richtig schön, weil nochmal alle, wirklich alle Gesichter zu sehen waren, das war schon berührend.Was mir in allen Filmen sehr gut gefällt ist die Filmmusik, die ist perfekt gewählt.

Ultimo episodio di questa avvincente e fantastica Saga.Forse proprio perchè ha avuto un enorme successo qualcuno la snobba, un pò come ho fatto io agli albori...invece era stato un errore poichè il discorso "Vampiri" è affrontato in maniera moderna, attuale non poi così incredibile...inoltre la storia d'amore è così tenera e facilmente trasferibile alla sfera sentimentale di ognuno di noi che dispiace sia finito. Ottime scene, ottimo racconto Ottimi attori in particolare brilla Robert Pattinson...certamente non solo per la bellezza ma per le sue qualità di attore che spiccano in un personaggio che raggiunge la maturità così verosimilmente che fatichi a distinguere la realtà dalla fantasia. Consigliatissimo.

Great movie, great quality picture. Absolutely furious as I ordered the series for my girlfriends birthday and none of the digital codes work. They are not only expired, but available in US only. I spent SOO much time to find a good set of this series on blu-ray with digital copies and it was all for nothing! So how do I get her a digital copy of these movies then, do I have to buy them all again through iTunes?

I swear I bought this for my wife!! She says these movies are the awesomest!! So I rated 5-stars based on her review. Seriously, I've never actually seen any of these movies...except for the one time. It was just the one time, it was already on TV. Other than that, I don't even know who Edward or Jacob are.

Do 3 stelle perché l'ho dovuto restituire. Mi è arrivato il DVD edizione speciale senza cartoncino esterno come dovrebbe essere. Nelle foto di altri clienti ho visto che loro lo avevano. Als ich den letzten Teil im Kino gesehen habe, war es für mich von vornerein klar, das meine Sammlung mit diesem Teil Perfekt sein würde. Ich war so überwältigt, das ich ihn mir hier gleich vorbestellt habe.Der Voraussichtliche Liefertermin am Erscheinungstag 28.03.2013 war es nicht.Egal!!! Ob zwei Tage vorher oder nachher, hat mich wenig gestört. Ich wusste das er aufjedenfall ankommen würde.Viele waren sehr ungeduldig und stornierten Ihre Bestellung bei Amazon. Was für mich nicht in Frage kam. Jetzt haben wir schon so lange darauf gewartet, also machten die 3 Tage den Bock auch nicht Fett.Ich bin auch einer der grössten Twilight Fans. Und heute Habe ich Ihn wie versprochen geliefert bekommen!(Samstag,den 30.03.2013)Das wurde von Amazon mit einem 3 € Gutschein als Entschuldigung für die Verzögerung belohnt.Was ich sehr zu schätzen weiß! Ich habe die Twilight-Bücher geradezu verschlungen und auch die Verfilmungen mehrfach gesehen, wobei mir der erste Teil immer noch am besten gefiel. "Breaking Dawn 2" hinterließ bei mir allerdings nur noch dieses Gefühl: Die Luft ist echt raus. Irgendwie wirkte die Story viel zu bemüht, so als müssten sich die Schauspieler wahnsinnig anstrengen, diesen allerletzten Teil einigermaßen passabel über die Bühne zu bringen. Besonders bei Kristen Stewart war dies deutlich zu spüren und sie hat mich als Vampirin überhaupt nicht überzeugt. Die Kampfszenen zum Schluss gaben dem Film noch einmal ein wenig Schwung - zumal sie in dieser Intensität und Drastik nicht im Buch vorkamen, was ich filmtechnisch gut umgesetzt fand. Aber der Schluss war dann wieder so kitschüberladen, dass mir echt alles verging. Vor allem dieser alberne Abspann, in dem alle Darsteller wie in einer billigen Soap Opera noch einmal vorgestellt wurden, untermalt von einem schnulzigen Liebeslied von Christina Perri, hat mir den Rest gegeben. Mein Fazit: Die Twilight-Welle hat sich mit diesem Film echt zu Tode geritten!

La spedizione come sempre è stata eccellente. Veniamo al film; capitolo conclusivo della saga di Twilight e seconda parte di BD. Essendo un appassionato della serie mi è piaciuto tantissimo, contiene più azione rispetto alla prima parte. A mio parere il film contiene meno trama in confronto al precedente, nel quale l'unico scopo è trovare alleati per fronteggiare i Volturi. Ma tutto sommato è consigliatissimo agli appassionati del genere e della saga.

Come per i precedenti dvd della serie non potevo che essere soddisfattissima dell'acquisto fatto!!! Pacco con entrambe le parti arrivato integro e ben sigillato. Ottima definizione e qualità del prodotto così come da descrizione riportata su Amazon. Soddisfattissima anche dell'opzione con la possibilità di ritirare il pacco al negozio di zona!!! Consiglio tranquillamente questo prodotto a chi, come me, adora questo genere!!!!

Come "special edition"non è proprio il massimo,solo la copertina in cartone e una immagine cartonata all'interno,però si salva per il film,con una bella conclusione(ed è più movimentato della noiosissima parte1),devo dire che la bambina fatta in digitale è orribile e fintissima.La qualità tecnica a parte il menu è fatta bene,un buon video sempre nitido e preciso e un audio 5.1 dts hd master abbastanza potente,sugli extra come dicevo all'inizio,non è proprio special.Per i fan comunque da avere!

Man muss sich nichts vor machen, die Twilight-Verfilmungen sind nicht das was man als Meilenstein der Filmindustrie bezeichnen würde. Jedoch sind sie für die Fans der erfolgreichen Buchreihe eine Visualisierung ihrer Traumwelt und so für die Fans was ganz besonderes.Auch ich gehöre zu dieser Art von Fans. Für mich sind die Filme was besonderes. Mit Spannung habe ich auf denletzten Teil gewartet. Enttäuscht bin ich nicht aber total begeistert nun auch wieder nicht. Bellas erste “Schritte“ als Vampir sind mir etwas zu übertrieben dargestellt. Man kann es fast als trashig bezeichnen.Wenn man alle Filme gesehen hat, dann sieht man die Entwicklung der Figuren. Gerade die von Bella. Zum einen ist sie zu einem wunderschönen Vampir geworden (davon abgesehen das ich Kirsten Stewart eh sehr hübsch finde) und zum anderen ist sie auch charakterlich viel stärker und reifer geworden.Im großen und ganzen ist der Film ein runder Abschluss einer gelungen Buchverfilmung.

Durch Mundpropaganda von Bekannten bin ich auf die Bücher von Stephenie Meyer aufmerksam geworden, habe sie mir gekauft und in einem Rutsch durchgelesen. Natürlich war ich dann auch neugierig auf die Verfilmungen. Mir hat die Serie gefallen (obwohl ein Film inhaltlich ja generell nicht an das jeweilige Buch heranreichen kann). Der letzte Teil der Filmserie wartet am Schluss mit einem Überraschungseffekt auf, der mich sehr fasziniert hat weil, wie ich finde, das Thema super umgesetzt wurde.Insgesamt betrachtet finde ich die Filmreihe gut gelungen, obwohl die Darsteller manchmal doch etwas "gestelzt" agieren.Treue Fans von Vampir-Geschichten werden jedoch wohlwollend drüber hinweg sehen - gute Unterhaltung ist auf jeden Fall garantiert. Und über Geschmack lässt sich eh nicht streiten.

Der zweite Teil der Vampirreihe Twilight. Ich habe den Film zwar nicht für mich bestellt, ihn mir jedoch trotzdem angeguckt. Der Film ist wie ich finde recht gut gemacht, auch wenn viele sagen, es sei ein Mädchenfilm. Völliger Quatsch, wieso sollen nicht auch jungen den Film gucken? Es ist zwar teilweise etwas kitschig aber ja kein Ausschlusskriterium! Na klar, die ganz große Action bleibt aus, aber die erwartet glaube ich auch niemand!Ich bin ein Fan von Blu Ray und bestelle daher alle meine Filme nur noch in Blu Ray. Ich habe zwar keinen Vergleich zur DVD aber ich bin jedenfalls mit der Qualität der Blu Ray zufrieden gewesen!Also für alle die einen Blu Ray Player besitzen und Fantasy Vampirfilme mögen eine Empfehlung für diesen Film!

Ich hatte zuerst eine totale Abneigung gegen die Saga, aber dann kam der 4.1 Teil im Fernsehen und ich dachte ich schau mal ob es wirklich so schrecklich ist wie ich Gedacht habe. Aber ich muss sagen das ich mehr als positiv überrascht bin. Habe mir dann die anderen Teile auch bestellt, weil ich musste ja wissen wie es weiter geht. Heute muss ich sagen das ich mir ärgere das ich ihn nicht schon viel früher geschaut habe. Also macht es nicht wie ich und traut euch. Ist auch nicht gruselig versprochen. Für meinen Fall hätten sie ruhig mehr zeigen können aber das ist Geschmackssache.

Das Finale ist auch im zweiten Teil genauso anspruchsvoll wie all die Teile zuvor. Ich bin noch immer sehr begeistert von den Bis(s)-Filmen und finde das Finale wirklich sehr gelungen. Es ist noch immer sehr spannend, gefühlvoll und macht süchtig nach mehr ;-DGanz besonders finde ich, das gerade in diesem letzten Teil der Film eine unerwartete Wandlung hat mit der ich SO nicht gerechnet hätte...Wer keine Filme mit Vampiren und Werwölfe mag, der sollte sich die Bis(s)-Filme dennoch anschauen!
