Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I purchased these outlets to make my house a little “smarter” after receiving a Google Home for Christmas. They were very easy to install - it only took minutes! First, I downloaded the Smart Life app and paired it with my phone. You need to make sure the phone and outlet are within range of your home’s WiFi. Once that was done, I was able to turn the outlet on and off from my phone. After that I was able to add the outlet to my Google Home app, which allows me to activate the outlet by telling Google to do so. The only downside is that the lamp must be switched to on at all times in order for the outlet to work. If a guest turns the lamp off using the switch, the lamp cannot turn back on using the smart outlet until it is switched back to on. This isn’t going to be a big problem for us, as our lamp is pretty hard to reach. I am looking forward to using the other outlet with our Christmas tree next December. It will be nice to not have to crawl under the tree to reach the cord.

I bought these and I use it with my Google Assistant to turn the lights on and off and also to control my fan. I just say "Hey Google, turn on the lights" and it works! You need to download another app (I downloaded Smart Life) in order to use these outlets, so make sure your phone has enough storage available. Pairing the outlets to your lights/fans and phones can be a little tricky. Make sure you follow the instructions exactly and have your WiFi password ready. The only problem I have with this device is that whenever the app updates or sometimes even randomly, it will just stop working or there will be long delays. Google has even told me "Smart Life appears to be offline." These glitches usually resolve, but it can be a little annoying sometimes when the fan turns off on its own or the lights wont turn on.

Bought for my parents to control reading light. I purchased two, and I tested one at my home. The installation for the one at my home took a few efforts. There are two methods, easy and then a little less easy. I have a new comcast router at home, and the easy option did not work; tried three times. The little less easy option worked with first try. I am blaming my comcast router. The installation at my parents went smoothly, and they have a slower verizon wifi router. The apps where downloaded for the ipads. Though finding on app store was a pain, needed to seach via google to find, and then use app store. Parents are happy, works well.

These were a few more dollars than other ones but had the best reviews and now I know why. Work great with Alexa. Easy to control from phone with their app. The only thing I would warn is if you have a dual bad router it can only program with the 2.4. I had to temporarily switch over my WiFi to the 2.4 but after installed switched back to the 5 and they work no problem. Will be purchasing more for the house.

Bought these to replace the KULED 2 plugs which did not work at all. So far these are working great. No random disconnecting, no camera stream disconnecting or anything like that. I will update if there are any issues.UPDATE: Almost 2 months later and these still work flawlessly. I don't think they disconnected once. Very happy with the product so far.UPDATE #2: Well, ran into some issues. These started to disconnect from my network any time I would turn them off and on. Basically, they would never re-connect to my network after that. I could still turn them on and off manually via cell, but could not program them on a timer unless I went through the whole deleting and re-adding process all over again which is a pain. Too bad.

Easy to set up and use. It's a bit bigger than a standard plug, so may end up blocking adjacent plugs on a power strip or wall socket. It's a great way to connect electronics like string lights, Christmas lights, spot heaters and fans to Google Home. Smart Life contains some additional features, but I find them less convenient than using Google Home. It'd be great if you could tell Google Home to turn off a smart plug after 3 hours (so you don't forget to turn off your spot heater).

Good product, works great for low voltage items(ie lamps, hotplate, baby swing etc) not so great with Heavy Duty items like my Air Conditioner(still looking for a Smart Plug that works with my window unit AC). The app is user friendly and easy to set up timers for various devices. The best part, the customer service is impeccable, if you have any issues they immediately respond and continue to help fix the problem until it's resolved.

I had high hopes for these to switch my window unit ac off and on. Setup and pairing was really easy and the app was easy. Unfortunately both of them completely burnt out after just one power cycle. They might be ok for a lamp, but not for anything that uses a little more power. I purchased a similar item for the same purpose from a big box clearance shelf that works great, but these just didn’t cut it.

UPDATEOne of the two was dead on arrival. Contact the seller, but they never responded. It was too late to return to Amazon. Make sure you verify both when you received them.Works like a charm. Really easy to install. It works with the Smart Life app. Many of the OEM smart things work with this app. It is great to unify them on it. It works with Google Assistant and Echo, as IFTTT. Can't go wrong for the price.

Only one of the two plugs works after less than 24 hrsSet up was relatively easy but one plug quit the next morning.

They work well there is just one that I had to unplug and replug but otherwise love the timer on it!

Easy set up with Google Home Mini. Just follow the instructions! Makes our older home smarter.

Work great with Alexa! The instructions that come with these is terrible. Ended up going to youtube and learning how to setup easily from there. Will order more!
