I like that it actually works and doesn't get so hot you can't touch it. I tried the cheapies but they didn't work at all, Got so hot I thought it was going to melt. It's worth paying more,,, in this case

This product arrived on time, next day, and was well wrapped. Plugged it in and started charging. Charged a 68% battery on a Quantum Edge 3 to 100% in 3 hours. AAA+!

Before my review on this product I'd like to educate people who leave bad reviews because they are uneducated! Specifically at the 3 star review left on this product because it puts out 27v. NOTHING can charge at the same rate it's equivalent to unless you want to wait an eon for it to charge. A car has always been rated for 12v (since the 6v era long behind us) but all alternators charge at around 14.4ish volts. If it charged at 12v you'd never be able to run electronics like lights, radio, heater, ignition , computer, etc because you'd be drawing more power than what is going in. There is a safe zone not to charge to high or fast, but input has to be greater than output or reserve capacity in the case of simply a battery, in order to charge efficiently and in a timely manner. That said, into the review....I ordered this for a simple, easy, inexpensive charging unit for my 24v solar set up. I'm playing with, testing, and trying to put the hurt on my solar set up (when I say hurt, I mean let's see what she can take) and I often run my batteries down. I'm running 6 car type batteries and I didn't have a 24v charger. I seen this and a 💡 went off. I ordered the charger, tested the power, yup she's got juice, cut the plug off, (well I unplugged it first, doesn't take too many times to learn that lesson 😱) stripped the wires, tested again, altho there is 3 prongs in the plug, there are only 2 wires, 2 prongs share the ground. And for those who tinker, inside the sheathing is a red and blue wire. Don't assume red is positive cuz it's not. Blue is. I wired this into my charge controller on the solar panel in side, and after the panels soak up all the sun they can and go to sleep, I can sit right inside my house, plug it in, and let it charge. Today the sun set down, and so did my batteries. Plugged it in for a few hours and boosted them right up and never as much as got warm, let alone hot! This was the ticket for me! Before when running 12v, I'd have to go outside, get the charger, find an extension cord, plug n connect. Now I look at the status on my controller from inside the comfort of my home, and when necessary simply reach a whole entire foot to my right and plug it in!ATTENTION DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!I am a trained professional! I have hurt myself, broken many things, and well maybe a few things have caught fire in my lifetime. I do not advise or endorse using products other than for their intended purposes. I just give an honest review of my use and findings in testing products.

This is a spare charger for cart batteries!

Did not work

The media could not be loaded.  This charger works well with my 24V 6Amp replacement, this one is a 27Volt 5Amp charger and it seems to be doing fine as far as I can tell but for technical purpose on the box it came in is say's on one side 24V 5 Amp and on the side it says 27V +- 5Amp which could run into some technical problems. It is much quieter and more rugged than the OEM charger that came with my chair. I highly recommend this item as working as intended with the exception of the technical issue, I have no way to test if it is a 24V or a 27Volt item, using the incorrect charger for your item can result in battery damage or fire. Item quit charging after about 4 uses,
