I live in a rental property, and I didn't want to get an electrician to install a 220 plus for the Tesla charger, but I did still want the faster charger than the 110. For my luck, my washer and dryer next to the garage, and the dryer already has electricity for 220. The adapter was perfect for my situation, so I could use my Tesla charger with the already wired electricity I already had.

It worked perfectly for my tesla mobile charger. Needed this for a road trip to an Airbnb that didn’t have a charger available but was able to use the adapter to charge at a faster rate then normal outlets. Loved that the plug has a handle on it to help you pull it out too. Heavy duty and should last forever

I recently bought a Tesla and had to find solutions for charging at home. The mobile charger that Tesla sells came with two connectors (one for regular house hold 110V and a 14-50 connector). The dryer outlet I have at home is a 14-30, so I figured this converter is probably the cheapest solution for my situation. And thankfully it worked great! Granted I have to lower the maximum charging amperage down to 24A and I have to unplug the dryer when I use it. However, I do not need 220V charging everyday and when I need it, it's vastly faster compared to the 110V connector. Overall, I am very satisfied.
