SIKU 5601 Sikuworld Farmer Starter Kit

This was packed very well and arrived much sooner than expected. I was delighted with the quality and size of the farm and I am sure my Grandson will love it at Christmas.

Child loved it a first sight. I am not sure how much it has been played with.

Bought this for my daughters (aged 3 and 5) for Christmas. While the product is obviously very good quality, there's some problems. The biggest problem is that this product doesn't really know who it is aimed at....if it is aimed at older kids as a model (rather than a toy), then it is too plastic and unrealistic. If it is aimed at younger kids as a toy (which is how I purchased it), it is far far too fiddly and takes an age (AN AGE!) to set up, particularly the barn which, frankly, has me considering therapy every time I approach it. Once set up, it is also not very stable and parts frequently fall over or separate. The hundreds of tiny yellow rubber blobs are a nice idea - but, again, if this is aimed at small children......well, just imagine. I spent a 2 hours after putting the toy away finding little bits of rubber around the house. Why not have 8 or 10 bigger blocks?Bottom line - this is a high quality product but if you are going to use it as a toy, it has HUGE shortcomings....and at the very high price, I would recommend looking elsewhere for something cheaper and, to be honest, more fun and less frustrating.
