Works, but not all features available if on Time Warner
I purchased this cable modem after Time Warner fried my Motorola Surfboard during a circuit upgrade. They provided me with a rental modem (Arris DG860A) to use until I could buy a replacement. Since the Arris was what they provided me, I knew it was compatible with their network hence me buying this one. After receiving it and setting everything up the way I wanted and enabling wireless to consolidate equipment, I called Time Warner to provision it so I could install it. Internet came up fine and speedtests showed I was getting my advertised speed and then some (30x5 advertised, 32x5 tested). The gigabit ports was a plus since I have a gigabit switch for all my cable runs in my basement (network labs, game consoles, computers, etc). However, I noticed my wireless on the modem kept disappearing. I went into the admin panel and saw it was disabled. I enabled it and within 30 seconds, it was disabled again. Having colleagues that work for TWC, I knew that there are ways for TWC to disable wireless on their supplied modems unless a customer pays extra. To verify this, I unplugged the coax from the back. Upon unplugging TWC's cable from my modem, I enabled wireless and it stayed active and wireless networking worked fine. As soon as I plugged the coax back in, wireless was disabled. After a call with TWC and dealing with a couple incompetent people, I talked to a guy who helped verify firmware versions and what could be causing the wireless to disable. Apparently with TWC, you have to use their firmware, otherwise the bootfile will look for settings that aren't there and the wireless disables. So, for those who want to use the integrated wireless on this modem (some will, some will use their own router), it's a good possibility that the wireless will not work on this thing.Other than that long winded explanation, the modem works great. The GUI is easy to navigate, the speeds are fast and I have not had any hardware issues with it locking up or rebooting.

Worked Great But Died Shortly After Warranty Was Up
Worked great while it worked - and it saved me money since I didn't have to pay to rent a modem from the cable company every month. It was also easy to hook up too - But about a month or two after the warranty expired it stopped working. I am now renting and using a modem from my local company again. Eventually I think I will buy another modem.

A decent modem/router combined at an affordable price, but beware used
I used this type of router provided by my ISP for over a year with no problems; I purchased the same model myself used, but it died within 2 weeks so I had to go with something else. I like that it comes with a built-in WiFi/router functionality in addition to the modem and it supports speeds faster than the ISP provides anyway. When it works, it does well for wired or wireless connections and even with multiple devices, I typically had 1-2 consoles, 2 phones, and 2-3 computers connected all at once without issue. Just beware that if you buy a used one, it may not have much life left.

Keeps you Steadily Surfing the Net
I must say, the Arris TS model does make keep browsing smooth and secure. It's integrated fine with any existing TW, Cox, Comcast, Frontier, etc. with a fast DOCSiS 3.0 packet system. Only drawback is the lack of existing phone jack(s) for primitive 56k adapters. But hey, it's already obsolete for the most part because it's all about Highspeed DSL, T10, Cable, FiOS and so forth

Spectrum doesn't want to use your own WiFi
This is a good modem and router. The router only works on 2G. The problem is that the Service provider in this case Spectrum doesn't want to use the WiFi on your modem so they disable it and some or almost all the technical support don't know how to fix that. So no problem with the modem or Wifi of this product. Spectrum is actually having a problem to setup the WiFi.

Works fine. Only gripe is the fact that it was obviously refurbished as it had a few scratches and there were pen marks on the sticker underneath where it displays the default network password. i'd return it but then i'd be a little difficult to write this review. Sigh.

High speed internet modem
I chose three stars because when I first got it open and running I tried to setup my preferences typed in address it looked to be in Chinese and I could not tell what meant name of administrator or password and had no choice to translate to English. Now when I type in gateway address it will not open to go in. It does have the speed for a fast speed internet connection
