Can't direct message the seller
I have purchased this item and all I'm getting is a blue screen. It was working, everything is connected correctly and the item and camera have power. Please help. Thank you

AV2 connection is for backup camera not AV1
The instructions are minimal. AV1 is for an input like DVD (not useful) AV2 is the one to connect to the back up camera. If you connect to AV1, it will switch to AV2 when you put transmission into reverse. If you have nothing in AV2 it goes blank. I used an RCA male to male to make the connection to AV2.

Ive installed many of these types of mirrors in my career. this is a very smooth unit. It does have a reverse trigger wire.

It can NOT be used as a normal rear view mirror!

Nice large screen but...
Nice large screen but the glare did not allow me to see the image from the backup camera, I would have loved for this mirror to have less glare and I would have kept it and not returned it.
