Rude Boy [DVD]

Reviewed March 2024:Of course its excellent! Its about the Clash, and has loads of interesting footage of the band live, in the studio and just living life. It is loosely a documentary before they really became global.Ray Gange plays the lead role as a roadie, and the story line in interesting and not cheesy.A must for any fan or anybody who has interest what it meant to be an upcoming band trying to make a living.

I thought the live footage in this film is off the charts! I was at the Victoria Park rally and remember something going off backstage at some point. Having never seen this film before, I now know what the scrap was about. Definitely remember the ‘stage invader’ hijacking the mike….it all makes more sense now. I also love the fact there is a ‘just play the music’ option that allows you to bypass all the rest if you want to get to the main reason you bought this…..recommended

If you a bit of r&r to get thru the summer, get the clash with Joe Strummer.

Acting is probably the worst ever seen...........but the restoration and the concert footage is amazing. A worthy time capsule.

Improved quality with blu ray. Decent extra materials too.

Fantastic dvd for those who remember the 1970's, watch the interviews first though but, the highlights include, Strummer doing Johnny Cash on the piano, and 'I fought the Law,' excellent for music, social history fans,

Superbe docu-fiction à posséder absolument pour tout fan des Clash mais aussi en mode découverte pour apprécier tout leurs talents et l'esprit Punk de l'époque.

Ce film a été une claque pour l'adolescent que j'étais il y a près de 30 ans. Cultissime et indémodable !

A must for Clash fans,the blu ray looks better than my regular DVD as it should.Very good ,no complaints.
