AC Charger Adapter Fit for Dell Inspiron 3558 3162 11 15 Laptop Power Supply Cord

This did not work as promised. First, even though the laptop I was trying it on was a model listed the laptop would not allow the battery to charge with this adapter. It allowed the laptop to be powered by it, but it couldn't negotiate the power correctly so to protect the battery it would not charge the battery. Second, the picture shows holes in the power plug which are used help the plug stay in the outlet. Outlets have bumps on the inside which fit into the holes of the plug to hold them in similar to a detent. The adapter that arrived had flat plugs with no holes so it would be very easy for it to become unplugged. This is not inexpensive, it is cheap and I found it to not work properly. On my end I should have skipped it since the plug does not have a ground anyway, but it still should worked better.

Let me start by saying it arrive in a timely manner. Upon arrival I changed my laptop with great success but after only 2 weeks it stop working, I had to go out and buy an emergency charger and totally forgot to reach out to seller, but that was my fault.

I have a Dell latitude laptop that had charging problems and the dreaded blinking light. I first replaced the DC power port and the battery. This fixed most of my problems but still had the blinking Amber LED and a warning that the adapter was not recognized. So I bought this adapter and problem solved! Laptop power is like new again.

This product does not charge my laptop even though the model number was listed. When I plug it in, I get an error message saying that it does not recognize the adapter. Do not buy.

The plug failed. My laptop battery will not hold a charge. I came back to see what the return policy was and go figure it expired on the 3rd of May.

Charger died after four months.

Worked perfectly with my Dell laptop!
