It was a first shelly for me and I must say Im impressed. I used several smart switches/sockets/meters before. This one rocks. The shelly app is so detailed, you can get any information and management anyone can possibly need, yet its straitforward and easy to use. Switch works great, this one is on my HP water heater and switches heating on cheepest electricity rates, also provides usage metering. There is letterally nothing i would want more from it.

If I need to upgrade an existing socket to a smart one, be it inside, or outside, I try to use Shelly gear these days.These are small and can fit in most existing back boxes. I use one to control an external socket that gets almost 3kW through it for 4 hours a night and not had any problems yet. This particular model also has energy monitoring which I use and is a great feature.There is great support from the company and Internet on Shelly gear and they have all sorts of gadgets with great apps and smart assistant integration. I also use Shelly EMs to monitor my home energy consumption. Big thumbs up from me.

Screw terminals are very small for 16A. The output one was stripped or became stripped as I fastened the wire to it so a wire couldn't be securely fastened to it.

Well it's a great product, however if it's faulty then be prepared to deal with the most ridiculous customer service I have even seen.Bought four of these, to be fitted by and electrician. One was faulty so I asked for a replacement, however Shelly want to see a video of it not working - hard to show once the electrician has gone. Or they will send it off to their labs for further investigation. It's a £19.99 item and Shelly customer support seem to take the default position that their customers are lying.Last thing I ever buy from such an awkward company. Avoid!

Ich nutze es in Kombination mit ioBroker, um den Energieverbrauch genau zu überwachen, und es funktioniert einwandfrei. Die Daten sind direkt in der App sichtbar und können sogar von unterwegs abgerufen werden, was die Kontrolle über den Stromverbrauch sehr praktisch macht. Zu Hause lässt sich das Relais problemlos lokal einrichten.Der Einbau erfordert jedoch einen Elektriker, da es direkt in den Stromkreis eingebaut wird. Sicherheit muss immer an erster Stelle stehen!Insgesamt ein sehr nützliches und zuverlässiges Gerät für die Heimautomatisierung. Sehr empfehlenswert für alle, die ihren Energieverbrauch im Blick behalten wollen!
