A useful multi purpose bag
I have had my bag a year and a half now. I use it every weekend and holiday as a day bag. I put my sunglasses, iPod, mobile phone, wallet, coin purse, tin of moisturiser, spectacles and some tissues into the main compartment. In the front pouch I keep my 'Buff', tripod adaptor for my phone, notepad and pencil, plus antihistamine tube. The two end pockets get used for various different sundries. I have noticed that one end pocket is coming unstitched from the time when I used to keep my phone in it and was continually pulling and pushing against the pocket, so I will repair that and put it down to rough use (but think it should have withstood it anyway really, hence 4 stars). The strap can be attached two ways: to the back of the bag and used as a 'bumbag' or across the body; or to the top of the bag and used as a shoulder bag. I have use it both ways. If you use it as a bumbag you will need a 'Ranger Band' to hold the excess length of strap from flapping around. When used as a shoulder bag the strap is about the right length, with minimal excess webbing. There is also a pair of straps that wrap around the body of the bag. These can clip at the front or the back of the bag, to hold things in place or to clip the bag to something else. Also there are belt clip straps on the back of the bag if you wish to thread a third party belt through them. It is a useful accessory and I have bought a second bag recently for my husband. I would recommend this bag.

Not well known name, but a great product
I opted for this after reading some of the reviews on the Snukpak bag that is similar. People complained the Snugpak had poor stitching and I did not want to take the chance. This MFH bag is German made and there are no issues with stitching quality. It is excellent all round, has many compartments and a multitude of ways to use (pass belt through, attach to belt, wear via shoulder strap, clip to Molle system and so on). This is an extremely well thought out product in terms of design - they really have thought of all the ways somebody may wish to use a bag like this and accounted for it. I have no hesitation on recommending this bag. You could go with a Maxpedition bag and pay a lot more, but I think you will be paying for the brand name, or you could go for the Snugpak which might let you down. I took a chance on this and couldn't be happier. For those who are in to bushcraft or wild camping: I have an mKettle and it fits in the main compartment with Trangia and a few extras on top. End pockets are great for 2oz tins - maybe firelighting equipment. The front zipper pocuh is where I like to put First Aid kit (reachable in case I fall and land on my back while wearing backpack, have a broken arm and cannot get the backpack off to get in to it).In the main compartment there is a mesh divider against one side and you can place an OS map here if you want. There are also plenty of ways to hook on extra things on the outside if you want.

great!
Well made bag. Used it extensively in south africa whilst hiking and fishing on the beaches...used it to carry phones, documents ect in towns, ususe it here for cycling to take essentials plus half litre water bottle! Use for a medical pack to carry basic 1st aid as well so buying another few for 2nd part of first aid like suture pack, blood clotting med, gauze ect and river fishing sundry. Want to prepack for particular uses or events, and the belt can be set up for around the waist or over the shoulder and if you need to move more quickly take it over your head across and have it tucked tight under the arm in packed third world towns so its harder to be snatched from you or more comfy pushed to your back and tighten up when hiking or fishing and its higher up from wading water. Its great. Not waterproof but nice canvas. With studs to add to compatable bags, hopefully another of them.

Use it for my camera
Purchased this to carry a Panasonic GF1 and spare lens. Very pleased with it but not mad about the camouflage.

Military Style Waist Bag
Needed a replacement for my old waist bag and bought this bag. It is extremely well made and I feel it will last me a while. The Zips are very good and strong and this is what these style of bags are all about. The material is very hard wearing and I feel this is an excellent buy.

Great Versatile Bag
Got this bag as a first aid bag when walking. It's great just seems to swallow equipment like you wouldn't believe. As someone else said the zips rattle a lot, but that was solved by changing them for cords. Great versatile bag.
