Works well wearing it under braces. Gives cushioning and protection from brace rubbing on skin.Purchase this to wear with my wrist/hand braces and does exactly what I needed it for.Comes in a roll. Will need to cut it to length that is proper for your needs. I cut a slit in the upper portion of the length of fabric I’ve cut off for my thumb so I can wear my braces comfortably.My father uses it for arthritis. He does not put a brace or a glove over top. He just uses the product.

Great for using under my removable cast to soak up all the sweat that happens. Seems well made and holds up after handwashing.

My review on this item is not based on any dissatisfaction of this product but rather the description. If you are looking for a product that provides a mild form of compression, this is not the product. The description stated if the circumference of your calf is between 9-20 or so inches, then order 5" size. I fell into that range and the stockinette fell off my leg. It was even too big for my thigh! Unfortunately you have to open the package to see if the item will work, but if it doesn't, you are stuck with it. So, make sure you want a really relaxed stockinette, and you order the right size. Others had mentioned some of these short comings, but I didn't listen, so I'm saying it again.

If you need some compression, this provides it. Nice long roll that you can cut to the length you need.

I had surgery on my foot and needed a lightweight loose sleeve for over my foot. This was exactly what I needed. Please note this is not a compression sleeve with firm elastic.

It’s quite thin compared to what you get from a doctor. Bought the 3inch width due to other reviews saying it’s big. This was for my husband’s lower leg to wear in a walking boot. I figured the 3 inch would have been good and that 2 inch would have mace been too small. Should have ordered the 2 inch to help it stay in place better. It got us through and better than nothing or tall socks that squeezed too much.For reference he had Achilles tendon surgery.
