Great item!
Its the perfect money box for kids. Its accurate with recognising the coin youre putting in, its sturdy and my kids love it!They dont have to count their money. It does it all for them. The only downside is when it comes to notes you have to manually put it in, but then again i havent seen anything that would register notes. So on the whole the kids and I are very happy .

Not 100% accurate; unremarkable.
This money jar is very basic but it works for the most part, unfortunately, if you put coins in too quickly, it seems to miscount. This was tested with £5 worth of 5p and ended up with £5.05, this difference isn’t much but it defeats the point of having a counting jar.Another issue which is less glaring, is the inability to see how much is in the jar without putting a coin in, which is a desireable but missing feature.Overall, not very impressed but as it does recognise all UK coins, including the new £1 coin, so long as you put each coin in slowly, its okay.

A nice money jar
This is a great jar for keeping track of your saving! It suits children and adults equally - children can easily personalise it with stickers as it's plastic.I've found it to be accurate but if my son messes around it can miscount - if he goes to put a penny in and then takes it out it counts 5p for example or if he wiggles coins instead of just putting them in then it confuses it. Not a fault of the jar though. Use it properly and it counts perfectly. Children will be children though so just keep an eye as they are putting coins in!

This is fun. I like the fact it’s clear as I can see visually how my savings are building, as well as the total on top. It works well and has counted accurately so far. Just a shame there’s no lock on it to stop my husband stealing change for the corner shop.

Deposit troubles.........
the money opening is a bit tight- and you have to use some force to get the thicker coins through- also seemed to lose count over the time it took to fill it- thankfully it was in my favour. But would have been disappointing if it had been the other way round, and I hadn't saved as much as it was stating I had?

More for your money 💰
Very very good value for the money and worth every penny. I bought a different brand from a certain store as a Xmas present for a family member £4 dearer, and it was just impossible to unscrew the coin counter to start counting in money. I took it back for a refund. So I am delighted with this purchase. As a bonus, it also has a bigger money jar

Nice stocking filler
I bought this for my teenager who loves to know exactly how much money he has. It's quite large so will hold a lot of coins and is very easy to add or deduct money. It doesn't come with batteries so you'll need a couple of AAA batteries on hand to set it up. Makes a good stocking filler for Christmas or as a small gift for children.

Cheap
The actual coin detection part broke for no apparent reason, coins weren’t being aggressively processed through it. Upon further look it just appears that the materials ( much like the actual thing itself) are very cheap.
