As a parent, I can't tell you how many times I've had to take my kids' temperature when they've been sick.That's why I was excited to try out this forehead thermometer.I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to use, you simply hold it a about an inch away from their forehead and press a button.It's quick, easy, and most importantly, the kids don’t mind it!Nicely designed thermometer. I like the clean and simple shape that is easy for big or little hands to hold.The buttons are easily accessible.I like that the numbers on the digital display are large and easy to read and that the background changes colors (green, yellow, red) according to the temperature reading. It reads temperatures quickly and more accurately than other thermometers we've had.Excellent product!

This electronic thermometer is super convenient to use! I have one at home, but it requires a half-minute wait after each temperature measurement before it can take the next one. Perhaps its temperature sensor needs time to cool down. However, this product doesn't have this problem at all; it can measure continuously. Additionally, this thermometer can switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius with just one button, and it can also switch between measuring body temperature or object temperature with just one button. It's very convenient, and there aren't any confusing buttons. Its texture is also very good, and the material feels high-end. I highly recommend it!

It is handy to have just to check your temp

I bought one of these (under a different company, but same item) in 2020. It gave me all of a year. I've changed batteries, nothing seemed to fix it. If you need something quick, go ahead. If you need this for a while, choose a different one!

The display is large enough snd bright enough to be seen easily. It is so easy to use. I would say that it is off by a degree, because my baseline temp on this is 97.7 F. So, find your baseline and if it's like mine, round up one point. This isn't a deal breaker for me. It will flash red if you have an elevated temp. It also has the option of scanning non human Temps. Bottom line, it works and does what it is supposed to do.

This product did not work even after I tried several new batteries. Broken on arrival.

Good to have food for traveling easy to use and read

Easy to use, compact no-touch thermometer. Two humans tested it on ourselves (without fevers), and the WINDRAY thermometer seemed accurate. It takes a steady hand to mark the optimum distance from the forehead to get readings that don’t range. Definitely a non-invasive way to get a reasonably accurate temperature IF you are mindful of the proper distance to the forehead. We also tested it on the dog, two cats and some surface temperatures. I am hoping it will prove a way to get a quick temperature estimate on the ear surface of a cat or kitten — using a rectal thermometer on a cat is not fun. Checking ear temps will definitely take some practice. I would not want to use this if precision is vital, but with proper use it is reasonably accurate and can help chart (and even record) temperature trends without causing any discomfort. Note that the two AAA batteries needed are NOT included, and a very tiny graphic on the battery flap shows the proper placement.
