It does what it's advertised to do
I got it today, set it up and installed it rather easily and quickly.Pros:The video quality is good and the doorbell chime is loud enough with a variety of different tone choices (some pretty annoying, a couple good and the rest tolerable), I went with the classic double ding dong. USB-C charging makes it quick to charge. Mounting it outside the door was as simple as two screws right into the wood frame. I already have a bunch of devices that use the Tuya app, so I already had it installed, and as soon as I activated the device for the first time the app automatically detected it and setup was easy.Cons:You can't wake it up from the app, only pressing the button on the unit itself wakes it up. It also doesn't wake up with motion detection. I only set it up today and it had 100% battery, but not long after it said it was down to 90%. That doesn't make me hopeful about getting it's advertised battery life, though I did test it a lot and I won't have many visitors at my door. I might update this review after I've had it for a while. I did quite a few test rings and sometimes it alerted my phone with a video call right away, other times there was a significant delay between pressing the button and getting the video call on my phone. A couple times, it didn't alert my phone at all. It will only use a max of 32gb micro SD card. I first tried a 64gb card, but the device didn't recognize it, so if you're also buying a micro SD card, get a 32gb card.Over all, for the price I paid ($16.99), I would say it's a good value. Is it my best quality security camera? Nope. Do I wish it did more? Yup. But it exceeded my expectations for such a cheap device. The fact that it doesn't have motion detection to wake it up isn't really a problem for me because I also have a light bulb camera (that also uses Tuya) in the porch light socket recording 24/7. I mostly just got this because I wanted a doorbell, the camera was just a nice bonus. It also gives a second perspective of happenings at the door. I hate cops, and cops hate cameras, so if they're ever at your door, the more backups and perspectives you have the better (I even have a 3rd camera inside the front door in case they try to disable the exterior cameras.) In this day and age, you can never have too many cameras.

Deep Sleep
I bought 4. Three connected easily! The other is questionable. (In part it had a low battery!)These go into deep sleep mode. So, it appears you cannot just check your camera to see what’s going on outside your door, UNLESS someone pushes the door bell button. This is disappointing, maybe I missed that in the description?
