Seachem Equilibrium Aquarium Water Conditioner, 300 g,white

Used to use replenish for my axolotl tank, started using this as I was having issues with my axolotl having her gills melting away with all parameters perfect. Now I use this I haven't looked back! My axolotl has healed up really well since I switched to this. Absolute essential for low GH areas.

As we use 100% RO water, our tank was lacking minerals needed for happy fish and shrink. I bought the large tub of this as it was better value - but it is going to last me ages lol! We premixed with RO water then added it to the thank, left it half an hour and the retested our water parameters - they had risen so we are happy. Should have happier snails, shrimp and fish now.

​While Equilibrium is a high-quality product, it is primarily a plant supplement that uses Potassium (K+) to raise GH; not the Calcium (Ca²+) and Magnesium (Mg²+) that fresh water shrimp actually need for their long term health. Thus, you should consider shrimp focused products such as Saltyshrimp GH+

Does as required and does it well

Delivery was very fast, just a couple of days. Product stabilized RO water at around 6 dGH, the water was a little cloudy and yellowish but it disappeared after about an hour or so. I really recommend this product to add to your RO water to remineralize it.

Simple clear instructions and easy to use, does a brilliant job on set up or for water changes.

I was looking for something to increase minerals but to get a better reading on gh in my tanks but looks like my tap water is already quite high gh. I can see this being good for new tanks and long established tanks but not sure if it was right for me. You get a lot. I kinda wish there was a smaller tin.

According to the instructions, it said that 1 tablespoon was enough to raise from 5dGH to 8dGH in a 20 gallon tank. I raised it a little at a time, spread out over days so as not to disrupt the fish/snails/plants too quickly, and I got to the goal in only 1.5 teaspoons, which is half of the recommended dose. Maybe the substrate and elements in the tank displaced half the water. But I recommend others to go slow also. It did make the water a little cloudy, but it cleared up in about 20min to an hour. I feel like the snails struggled with the change, hiding for about a day after each time I added some of this stuff, so another reason to go slow with it.

Estoy añadiendolo con agua de osmosis. Es perfecto aunque creo que la dosis recomendada por el fabricante es excesiva.(16 gr-80L-3dh). Yo dosifico 11 gr en 50L, sería correcto, según fabricante,pero pone el agua con dh6, perfecto para mí proyecto. Aconsejo ir midiendo al principio y añadiendo según se necesite.

Does what is suposed to

Good.. I am using RO water for fish tanks and they need to be remineralized, seachem equilibrium does that job.
