Big enough for a man's fingers?** A: In my opinion, definitely yes. Hubby had no issues and I've definitely seen much smaller mug handles. At its widest point from edge of handle to cup, it's 2 inches of space. Awesome mugs, very very happy with them! And they are gorgeous, copper inside and out. I have another mug that isn't copper inside. Not as pretty and doesn't keep drink as cold. If you search for UNLINED copper mugs you will find them. The reason for the lacquer is to keep it nice looking, but you are not getting the copper. The acid in the lime leaches copper from the mug and this creates not only a unique flavor, but imparts health benefits.
