Bino rucksack straps
These items for to the shoulder strap loops on a rucksack. An excellent product as it solves the problem of getting 'neck-ache' that using a traditional single loop neck strap.

Great product, each photographer need it!
I love to photograph, but sometimes I fell more safety put the belt strap around my neck instead of my shoulder or my wrist, The camera is a little heavy so after a few hour my neck is in pain, I searched online and this is very common in the photography world.I have my backpack bag with me and it has a clasp on the shoulder straps, I found this product online and I thought I could be a great solution. After a few times that I use it I think it's amazing! My camera is safely fixed at the backpack and my neck doesn't hurt anymore. These connectors are made in two parts, one that is connected to the bag and the second is fixed on the camera, so it is simple to release the camera when I need it free for some reason.I think it worth all the money, great product!

Good quality!
Exactly what I wanted! Just perfect! I was looking for a way to attach my camera to my backpack and be able to hold it in place so it will not move around while I walk and these are perfect for that.It was a bit difficult to attach the straps but once in place it is perfect! Camera sits well and feels safe, I am able to take photos with the camera still attached or I can easily remove the camera, take my photos and buckle it up back in place. I am really happy with this purchase!

Great piece of kit
Great piece of kit. Fixes securely to backpack strap - so secure that it is difficult to remove if you attach it to the wrong part. Make sure you check the positioning before closing the clipsAs with all Optech fittings, no worries about the clips acceidentally releasing.

Great For Backpacks
I have recently been on a two week walking holiday. I used these straps with a Vaude backpack and Nikon D40 SLR. I found them easy to fit and use. The straps adjust to hold the camera just below the backpack's chest strap. I did not notice any problems with comfort, unlike with a neck strap. With the camera held in a excellent position for quickly grabbing, I took many more photos that I normally would. I usually have dig the camera out of the backpack. As I did not want to remove the fixing loops I used OP/TECH's sling strap for using the camera off the backpack. If you are into walking and photography then these I would strongly recommend these.

Good quality.
These form the basis for my camera carrying.

Excellent product
Added to my camera kit to provide good flexibility over several body/lens combinations and works well; good strong construction at a very competitive price.

Excellent system. I have a couple of OP/Tech straps ...
Excellent system. I have a couple of OP/Tech straps for my bins and camera and all are very well made. The range of straps allows me to swap between different styles depending on what I'm doing. These allow me to attach my bins to my backpack, which is great. This avoids interference between the backpack and a conventional strap AND allows the weight of the bins to be carried by the backpack suspension system - and not all on the back of my neck!

Gets the job done--at the heart of a carrying system
The OP/TECH USA System Connector - Reporter/Backpack are at the heart of a great system for carrying a DSLR with a backpack. They attach to the pack's shoulder straps. They are reasonably constructed for average circumstances.I bought this set to take a Nikon D70s on day hiking trips in the local mountains. Other reviewers had remarked about the plastic snaps used to attach these to the pack straps. I took no chances and ordered a pack of Grimlocs (Military Carabiner Grimloc D-Ring Vest Backpack Keychain Clip Snap Foliage Green (Lot of 4)), which are more than enough to support a DSLR in suspect terrain. I sheltered the camera with a Nikon 18 - 70mm zoom in a Case Logic SHC-101-BK DSLR Day Holster - Black. The shakedown hike was longer than expected, 11.6 miles/2,600 feet of vertical gain, mostly cross country, using some abandoned roads. It ranged from "jaunt in the country" to "OMG!!! Why am I doing this?!?" The straps on this are short enough that the camera did not bounce, yet long enough (just barely) to shoot both portrait and landscape modes. I'm 5' 8" -- if you're much taller than I am, you will probably want longer straps than these.I also got an OP/TECH USA Utility Strap - Sling (Black) which is compatible with this system, allowing me to carry the camera around my neck when not wearing the pack.If one wanted to, they could rig something similar with straps and fasteners and grimlocs. I didn't want to wait for enough time to DIY.Highly recommended. With this system in place, it was easier and faster to grab the DSLR and start shooting than to grab the point and shoot out of my vest pocket.

Great (albeit limited) item
Really if you want to clip bins to backpack straps while hiking or birding, this is THE way to go. Just perfect for that purpose. Solid, reliable quality and great affirmative “click”. If you’re not sure if you need them then don’t get them, but If you’re on the fence then just go for it. They are perfect in form and function.
