I been a customer of Healthy Kidney Inc for about 8 months. I use the kidney restore for cats and dogs with really good success. It helped to stabilize and improve my cat, Jaspar's kidneys and is part of her daily routine.When I get an email about there new product Absorb One I decided to give it a try. Since my cat Jasper does well with Kidney restore I was happy to try something else that could help his kidneys.Its a little black powder that I mix into his food. Its a small amount to use, so I like that. Jaspar doesn't seem to notice it at all.I also mixed it into a food paste I use for calories which also seems to work fine.Went back to the doctor for a visit and blood work. Which I was happily told your cats kidneys are better. Not all better, like I hoped, but better than before. As long as my cat is doing better I am happy to keep purchasing Absorb One.

This is a great product but not enough inventory on Amazon. The company says maybe soon you can order from their website, but it is not their top selling product. A similar product cost 4x the amount of Absorb One because it comes from Germany, so think it would be the best interest to keep the shelves stocked on Amazon.

I bought this because I thought it was the same product i purchased from another seller thinking I was getting a better deal. this is nothing like the product I ordered from another seller that really seemed to help our boy sick. I can’t return the product. I have a complete unopened container I want to return, I didn’t known it doesn’t qualify as a satisfaction Guarantee or I would’ve never purchased off this seller! So disappointed with this and Amazon for allowing people like this to sell without backing their product up with a satisfaction guarantee!

my cat won't eat the food I put this into. it turns it all black, I tried using less than described, but still makes it look black. they won't let me return it, so buyer beware before you buy, consider what I'm saying. I'll show a picture as well, with 1/4 of the recommended dosage. plus it was almost$18 for activated charcoal. I'm thinking I could have used mine for cheaper. anyways those my thoughts

This kidney support supplement is a great way to help keep your cat's kidneys clean from toxins. This product is basically activated carbon which is similar to activated charcoal and is highly porous and absorbs kidney toxins and supports normal elimination from them. Only 1/8 tsp full per day will hopefully benefit your cat"s quality of life so they can live out their nine lives much longer. I had an overweight cat in the past that ended up with kidney problems and it was so sad to see how quickly it took his life. Knowing now that supplements like this exist that are so easy to add to my cat's diet is something I cannot ignore and am starting to give to him daily hoping that he does not have to go through what my other cat did. This product came with a tamper resistant seal on it and includes a small scoop for measuring the correct dosage. The container is much larger than the amount of product in it which is about 1/2" full from the bottom and it could be in a much smaller container since the inside of it is coated with the product therefore wasting some of it. I am glad I found this product and hope it helps with keeping Wolfie healthy.

I'm totally in favor of giving my cat activated charcoal. I take activated charcoal myself. It's harmless and tasteless and has a lot of benefits. But with this product... you get such a tiny amount of powder (in a large bottle) for the price. The marketing materials brag about, "revolutionary highly porous activated charcoal." I don't know enough about it to know what that means... but it sounds silly to me. How revolutionary is activated charcoal. And once it's pulverized down into a powder, how porous is it?Activated charcoal is what nutritionists refer to as a "binder." It's often subscribed during a detox because some heavy metals, impurities, and toxins you're trying to flush out, bind to the charcoal and run through your intestines. I never travel internationally without a bottle of activated charcoal capsules in case I eat something that makes my stomach feel off. A handful of activated charcoal a couple times a day always helps.The thing to remember is that activated charcoal is one of the strongest binders out there... and everything binds to it, including the nutrients in your food and other medications. So it's best to take on an empty stomach 2 hours after or before a meal, and never combine with other supplements—not because they will react poorly to each other but because it's just a waste to take valuable supplements only to have the nutrients attach to a binder and get flushed out. I like to Intermittent Fast for 18hrs a day and I take activated charcoal multiple times a week 2 hours after dinner, before bed.BUT WHEN IT COMES TO CATS... you need to give it to them with food. So I give this to my 20yo cat at the end of the day... after she's eaten all her other meals, when she's asking for a snack before we turn in. She takes an antinausea pill in the mornings, and a thyroid medication at 6p... so I'm careful to give this to her around 8p or later.As another reviewer noted... it looks terrible. It's black carbon! But it's flavorless and my cat doesn't notice what her meal looks like.
