I thought it was part of the design. Turns out that the inner feeding was not connected to the metal pipe correctly and every gel ball just broke when I shot it. Even the mag feeding was faulty and most of the gel balls that I prefed broke in the gun and it jammed every single time. I was using ultra hardened gel balls for the ammo (none of that chinese soft stuff) and it still broke. Pretty cool gun, mine probably was the faulty one. I put together the kit and went nice and easy, but thats about as far as the “nice” got. The blaster does not shoot consistently at all, maybe 1 out of every 5 balls shoot out (i used the gel balls provided in the kit plus some other harden ones i got separate from Amazon), so its probably not an ammo issue and more like a bad product. Ill keep trying other gel balls but so fat this thing is horrible when it comes to performance and overall workability.
