B-Square Remington 870 20 Gauge Express LT Shotgun Saddle Style Mount, Matte Black Finish

I had trouble finding a way to attach my Burris Fastfire 3 to my son's 20 gauge Remington 870 express. Some of the others I found on the market were made of a polymer and I didn't think they would hold up to any abuse. I tried this and was very happy with the product and result. It went on very easy, sits flush, and looks great on the gun. The red dot optic attached as expected. The end result has been a lot of downed doves, quail, and even a great big gobbler this past spring. The only porblem is that I think my boy is now out shooting his old man. I may need to pick up one of these for my shotgun.

I'm not sure what happened here, but this was my first bad experience with Amazon and I'm extremely disappointed. I purchased this product and:1. The bolt holes were off by at least an 1/8"2. In the process of installing it the mount was scratched,3. And, the finish on my 870 receiver was scratched and ruinedBottom line, I threw it in the trash in disgust, went to a local store and found a Remington mount, installed that, and was happy. In addition to my dissatisfaction with the product, lately, I've purchased several things using Amazon Prime where I get a 2 day shipping confirmation at checkout, but the item actually doesn't show up for 3-7 days later. I'm not looking for perfection, just want my expectations better managed!

I have the Remington Tactical 870 Express 20 gauge. This add on fits perfectly. It is easy to install andone with even a small amount of experience will be able to install it. Once it is install it is solid and does not wiggle at all.

Bolts are not long enough. They stripped out rather easy. Luckily the mount is made well. I went to the local hardware store and got new longer bolts, and nuts. Looks ugly as heck, but all I need is for it to function well, which it does now.

If I had my choice, I'd own the rifled barrel with the cantilever scope mount. Since buying a new barrel isn't an option, this scope mounting bracket is a great alternative. I appreciate it's metal construction and it's easy, intuitive installation. I was able to install it securely and had my scope mounted in no time. It fits well and is very solid.

I wanted to use it to mount a holosun 515 with a quick release, or an RMR with a quick release on a Remington 870.The mounts are picatinny. The saddle is ONLY weaver. I really wish weaver would go away and the industry would standardize on picatinny so everything would work everywhere .

This mount fit perfectly. All hardware was included. You can't tell it didn't come with the gun. I is secure and there was no drilling or tapping needed to install it. I am very pleased.

Mount did not fit over older 870 or 1100 receiver frame.Other B-Square models I have fit newer 870 w/o issue.No idea why one fits and another does not.Mount can be cut or re-fabricated to fit but kind of defeats purpose of buying off the shelf product designed to fit.Suggest caution and probably better to buy local than deal with hassle of return, etc. via mail.
