Works
It works like it should. Losing the little retainer clips is very easy to do. Now that I have some extras and an installation tool all is good. Super easy to use!

Not happy at all this kit is nit a good quality at all. Just go with original once.

Need a hard sold surface
Works fine for me but was kinda hard to install.Block that it comes with is no good.I used the floor and a small flat head to get the ring on. Keep the OEM o ring on.Note: I have a m18 3/8 compact impact.

Works, but oring is too thick to begin with
I hope you have some muscles to get your sockets off after replacing the oring with one of these! the tool didn’t work so great that they send with it, but some pliers did the trick. a socket actually got stuck on the tool due to the oring being too thick and the clip being out too far - the clip moved off the oring and kept the socket locked on. it’s getting better after 20+ changes in sockets, just beware that replacing that oring can change how quickly you’re changing out sockets!

The install tool is too soft. The tool goes right through when trying to install the friction. Also the friction ring does NOT fit milwaukee
