Ivation IVADM45 Powerful Mid-Size Thermo-Electric Intelligent Dehumidifier w/Auto Humidistat - For Spaces Up to 2,200 Cubic Feet

I tried the £20 cheaper amazon choice dehumidifiers from pro breeze in my wardrobe and it made little to no difference. So I purchased this more powerful model and have put it in my wardrobe instead. The difference is stark! This one is amazing and makes a huge difference! It got the humidity in there down to the set value overnight (40) where the other one left the humidity at 60 and couldn’t do any more. If you’re having mould trouble in your wardrobe I highly reccomend this over the smaller ones. It’s the perfect size, turns on and off automatically, has a huge water bucket and actually does what it says and dehumidifies really well! Plus it has a warranty with it!

This little machine has helped to keep my room "musty smell" free however a few months ago it ceased to operate. The water container is completely dry. When powered the numbers on the back display but no noise of operation is heard. I've taken it apart to clean the dust out and still no better. I've taken the drawer out to have a look at the internal componenets. Upon inspection the trigger responsible for registering the drawer seems to have stopped working. The trigger that registers the drawer is full is operational however. Any advice on how to fix would be greatly appreciated.

Seems to do the job required in our 18square metre conservatory

It's loud and slow, but other than that, 10/10 would recommend it, a 5-year-old could use it.EDIT: a few years on and it exploded one day, useless if you want to use it every day.

It would be ok for a small room but is not man enough for a single garage. Automatic stop and start a good feature.

So so quiet and it’s great value

Not as efficient in extracting water, this is because of it does not have a compressor and the extraction rate is very very slow, it took 8 days to fill up the canister and the humidistat was at 70%. The item was returned seller was very nice. Instead purchased Probreeze which has been amazing from day 1, extracts the full cannister amount within 1-day preset at 50% humidity level placed in my bathroom.

Thus us a great product, even though it has no compresser it works fantastic with at least a full tank a week being collected, we leave in on all the time and the humidistat works brilliant, we set it to 50 and just leave it alone, when we shower it comes on very quickly and sets about clearing the room. I highly recommend this product
