Bought these to help drown out the neighbors who live in the apartment next door. I was surprised to find these so aesthetically pleasing and easy to mount. They’re very light weight and you only need command strips to mount to sheetrock (you’ll need gorilla glue for extra adhesion to panel). Function wise, they do muffle the noise to a tolerable level but aren’t going to soundproof if that is what you’re looking for. Highly recommend.

Working from home, my spouse and I wanted to quiet down the rooms we were working out of, plus damper the noise from our new home theater. Our doors are hollow and let a decent amount of noise through. We searched for various panels, but wanted something that would match the white doors close and cover up the 6-panels without looking too out of place. These fit the bill being the same color and size if I cut one panel in half - they covered the 6 panels on each door. Cutting was easy to do, though the panels don't necessarily line up all the way from the factory so perfection isn't totally possible, though in our case you can't tell a whole lot. I tacked them on to the back of the doors using 6 small nails that you can barely see the heads and they don't budge. We immediately noticed a difference in the lack of sound coming from the basement, reducing a lot of the fan, washing machine, and general noise. So far they work great taking some of the low to mid frequency sound out of the rest of the house.

I turned my closet into a gaming desk, and the wall behind me is the wall separating my house mates room. My PC set up consists of two high powered studio monitors and the overall consensus of my house mates before i put the three panels up on that wall was "the sound is audible but not overwhelming". After I put the three panels up, they said it was "Noticeably better on taking the edge off the higher end sounds like high hats and cymbals etc." So thats good. Now for how it improved the sound IN my room; Overall, noticeable at improving the bass reverb and making it sound tighter and of course with panels these large youre going to improve on echo cancellation within the room.Very satisfied.

Beautiful large panel. Saves time and hassle having one this size for large area coverage. Picture doesn't do it justice. Because of the fiber, it has a soft appearance and the price is very reasonable. Highly recommend for any project. I used 3m 2in double mount tape.
